Re: NoiQ leaving ipoker

I used to play ongame, and never understood peoples gripe with the software. Im probably just lucky but I never had any issues and I used to multitable a lot. I have became used to ipoker so feel a bit anxious to move to somewhere that isnt ipoker or ongame. Totally ignorant question, but how do other potential sites compare? Bonuses seem decent enough but I was always put off by the lower traffic. If the games are a little softer I would consider a move?

I hope noiq can keep the cashbacksystem. If not they are loosing a lot of players, me included.

Re: NoiQ leaving ipoker

i just want to add my 2 cents. disclaimer: this is all imo and i could be wrong but imo:

this is superb news for iPoker players. (fwiw ive been an ipoker player for 4 years now i think).

why did noiq annoy me?

1. their advertising policy

2. their race

regarding 1. ive never seen them advertise beyond internet poker forums and PMs. this is terrible for any network. they must have attracted less than 1% new players to the network and got 99% of players from other iPoker sites.

regarding 2. I wouldn't mind this at all if they were simply giving more cash back to players. But there were only giving it back to the nittiest, 15 tablers. None went back to advertising to the public aka fish. NoIQ players bust the fish, then NoIQ expect other skins to attract the fish, without NoIQ having to spend any advertising money to the public, for their nitty players to bust.

For example, two main skins i can think of are, one are official, bookmakers for Man Utd (brings in lots of fish) and another having a huge sports book from lots of ads to the public. These types of sites are healthy for an iPoker network and they are, imo, as well as other iPoker skins, what made the network great.

Obviously they are not doing this to make our games fishier directly, they know they'll dump money in the sports book, but it has a good knock-on effect for the poker side as well.

the owners of noiq im sure are nice people, and their business plan was clearly successful, i tip my hat to the profits they must have made. However, what I did not like was they were doing this at the expense of the iPoker network.

also, iPoker have finalllly learnt their lesson and aiming to stop all crap new skins setting up on the iPoker network, to prevent the situation they've had recurring.

this rant wont come as surprise to some as ive seen comments like 'parasitic site'. this is exactly what they are. they'll go to the next network, try to steal as many players as possible by encouraging really nitty play, they'll do no advertising to the public because as they have no sports book is far more profitable to only focus on advertising on poker forums. The new network will experience tougher, nittier games and those players on the existing sites, they games will have a declining fish population as rake which may have gone to sites which advertised now go to the 15 tabling nits.

anyways, as i say this is nothing personal, im sure they are nice people, i may well be completely wrong in the above. id be very interested for them to reply to my comments, that they aren't healthy for a poker network in terms of long term fishiness of the games, lack of advertising to the public.

hope everyone had a good christmas

I agree that is great news, I assume that NOIQ were kicked off of the network by PlayTech.

Re: NoiQ leaving ipoker

I played some on noiq this year and was quite satisfied with their support and everything..
but it would never have crossed my mind to follow them if they changed networks back then.
I played there because they had one oft the best offers for ipoker (or so I thought at that time..)
but if somebody asked me where I played I always said "ipoker" and I think a lot of noiq's players are the same..

Re: NoiQ leaving ipoker

This is probably a result of iPoker's new policy of fining sites whose players withdraw more than they deposit. Obvioulsy such a site is bad for any poker network.

Re: NoiQ leaving ipoker

Derek has it said. Few things to add. Its not just noiq that is in trouble but other high rakeback skins as well incl. Carlos poker, betfred, parimatch and some smaller tain licensed rooms. Ipoker will do press conf next week and lots of things will be made clearer. In the meantime do what you needto do to keep your bankroll safe. I guess with noiq it might be a little late though.

Just few Q to answer:
Why the only interview noiq did was focused on players funds?
Noiq has never been a proper poker room ie licensed & audited. Tain ( expekt) was the only one that have had it. Like bank runs kills any monster bank players leaving pokerroom in significant numbers kills any subpar pokerroom.

Talking Re: NoiQ leaving ipoker

This is really funny.
I heard the same words from a friend of my who know's Titan poker CEO.
The exact same thing as you write he said to my friend.

Also, Titan poker is calling arround and offer 45 % rakeback.

So before you open your mouth why not look at what ipoker do.

As everyone know Titan poker and ipoker is the same people.

They now try to scare and lie all they can + they call arround and offer rakeback. This is how they work and how they try to grow.

If you find that nice.. well...
But you only post 1 so my bet is that you are the ceo of Titan?

if would be a major suprise if noiq join something like FTP ^^
image all the non rakeback players they would get rushing to them.
of course that will never happen

Re: NoiQ leaving ipoker

I don't understand the bit about Titan. Isnt Titan OWNED by iPoker !!!!!!! The reason they hate NOIQ is because it takes all the Titan players away who are willing to play for jack bonus.

That said I have 8 iPoker skin accounts and if you arent raking $15k a month there are better deals. I left NOIQ ages ago, you aren't going to compete with a bot playing 5/10 Limit all day

I think NOIQ have thrown there toys out of the pram. iPoker software isnt magic but compared to Ongame and Boss its bloody awesome So players may move for the big race, but I think they will be back in Feb.

Re: NoiQ leaving ipoker

I m a regular on 1000NL and I played on titanpoker with 35% rakeback then moved to Noiqpoker and every 15 days more or less titanpoker calls me to go back and play there.
They don t have a shop, they don t convert fpp and they offered me about 40\45% rakeback when they ban skins who offer rakeback.
Cashouts on Titan were very problematic if big.
On Noiq I never had a problem and support is great.
I think, and this is my opinion, they will join pryma network but funds are safe just is a personal decision if keep playing on ipoker or go to play in a new network

Re: NoiQ leaving ipoker

Great isnt it. I got completely hacked if with Titan calling me. Eventually I told them the deal I was on and they never called again
I agree on the cashouts, I waited over a week on Titan, now I get it in Neteller within 4 hours.
Like I say there are about TEN players on NOIQ who won't find a better deal elsewhere. The rest if they are sensible will just jump skins get a good rb percentage and a shop for the same software. Well ok the table wont be green lol
