I don't understand any of this bot stuff. Isn't poker a game that can't be beat by computers? Doesn't it have too much human factors and variables that bots don't understand?

No.

Think of a multi-tabler on "auto-pilot." A lot of his/her decisions would be automated and easily replicated.

Besides... with rakeback, you don't have to do more than break even to score 5-figures a month.

Re: NL Bots on Full Tilt

I guess he has to admit that he knows the other accounts since it'd be easy for FT to check IP addresses where they log in and their home addresses. Undoubtedly there were days that they logged in sequentially and it'd be damning to say that you didn't know someone who logged into FTP from your IP address immediately after you logged out.

I wonder if bot surveillence will be left up to the masses to self police (like this thread has done). I hope not.

Re: NL Bots on Full Tilt

if it wasn't for the timing tells and the session start/end times, it could very well be that they played off 'strategy cards' or something.

It's those two things that give it away.

Not as bad as the 95% push in the SNG bots, but pretty bad.

Arguably. However, some players are so bad that they CAN be beaten by computers. This is why you see that they have marginal winrates. They have to play very tight and very straightforward.

Eventually there might be a world-class computer poker player, but that time has not come yet.

It's in our interest to act professional while we wait for an official response, curt as it may be.

Party never gave an explanation why 20 or soemthing bots were running on their tables for over 4 months. I doubt Full Tilt will give an adequate explantion here either.

One more proof (as if that was still necessary) that this forum is full of retarded morons.
