As no one, (to my knowledge), has made a bet yet, we can change the rules a bit and still start a book now even though we've seen the results of the first three tournaments.

In theory, there could be 18 finalists in the BANJO Championship game, (see the Rules in the OP), especially if the guaranteed seat players decide to sit out for the rest of the series. (Hopefully, they won't.) For the same reason, it's possible that the eventual highest points winner could be "manipulated" a little, intentionally or not, so, instead of us betting on who will be the eventual highest points winner, I would suggest we bet on who will be the eventual "Bubble Boy", (BB), with 1% of the total fund gathered by our bets being paid to the actual BB as a "consolation prize", whether or not he has been named in the betting. (Payouts would go to the bettors who named the player nearest to the BB who didn't qualify, if there were no bets on the actual BB; or to the lowest points qualifier if there were no bets on eventual non-qualifiers.)

For example, the book might end with:

If Henter is the BB, (again), he would receive $44.

If Carl_LaFong is the eventual BB, then the payout would be $4356/$100 = $43.56 per $1 bet on him.
Or, if YouPayMyRent is the eventual BB, then the payout would be $4356/$1000 = $4.356 per $1 bet on him.
If the book had run last year, as above, everyone betting on Henter would have received $4356/$100 = $43.56 per $1 bet on him.

If anyone is interested, bets should be placed before the start of this month's game on 31 May.

I'll kick it off by betting $10 on stover33 being the eventual BB.
