Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: June 25th 2017

Russia’s “EvnomiYa” wins over $35,000 at 888poker’s The Whale.

Parker “888tonkaaaa” Talbot makes a top 3 appearance at the Sunday Challenge.

Ukraine’s “YsoSerious7” and Argentina’s “Dejavu.turn” were 2 of of 888poker’s biggest winners, chopping this week’s Mega-Deep for $17,884 & $15,115,
an incredible return for both on a $215 investment.
The Whale & Mega-Deep

441 players signed up for the $100,000 GTD. Mega-deep tournament, each paying $215 for the chance of winning BIG.

Within the top 20, we saw familiar faces such as Brazil’s “keybr” and Argentina’s “sonmonedass” not managing to make it to the top 8 and leaving the spot for “YsoSerious7” and “Dejavu.turn” to claim the massive 1st and 2nd place prizes.

The special edition of the Whale continues to be extremely successful at providing us with unbelievable action, with 107 players participating and rebuying 34 times, in 888poker’s high-stakes Sunday tourney.

We saw 4 (!) Swedes making it to the top 11 but it was Russia’s “EvnomiYa” who managed to prevail claiming 1st place for a staggering $35,250!
Sunday Crocodile

The mini High-stakes tourney provided great action poker. It took “Satchless” 8 hours and 45 minutes to beat 196 players to claim 1st place and an incredible $6,450.

“Satchless” managed to overcome UK’s “HinduKrush”, one of the most interesting players at 888poker with 2 previous wins in the same tournament, this time settling in for 5th place.
Sunday Breeze

446 players opened their Sunday with a Breeze, joining the $55 dollar entry tourney.
3 tough German players made it to the final table, but only 1 of them managed to take the 1st place prize.

It was “Kalle1968” who managed to secure 1st place and a breezy Sunday!
Sunday Challenge 1R

After close to 11 hours of play we saw “iBustYa888” manage to overcome this Sunday’s Challenge.
He went up against 470 players, who made a total of 656 entries (each worth $90) to take home 1st place and $12,000!

Our very own 888poker ambassador Parker “888tonkaaaa” Tallbot made a very impressive run, finishing at a very respectable 3rd place. WP Tonka!!
Turbo & Mini Mega Deep

In one of 888poker’s closing tourneys for Sunday, The Turbo Mega-deep,
we saw Denmark’s “Burgerfrans” taking the fast-paced poker tourney for a solid $8,600!

The Mini Mega-Deep saw a familiar face in 9th place, as Ukraine’s “YSoSerious7” unbelievably made it to both the Mega-Deep and the Mini Mega-Deep final tables.

At the end we saw “GDigital14” and “tim” make it to the top 2 and closing on a deal to split the wealth, each cashing in for over $5,000!

The duo managed to sweep this amazing amount for a mere $22 buy-in.
What to watch out for:

Stay tuned for 888poker’s ChampionChips, our official new Micro Series where you could play to win a share of $150,000 and a place in our ChampionChips Winner’s Gallery!
Look out for our Free ChampionChips Qualifier Tourneys,
running between 15/7/2017 - 22/7/2017 at 12:05, 18:05 and 12:05 GMT.

When you put your bets into the betting slip your free bet option should be there.

No rakeback here. The more you grind the less you get. This is how we do it on 888.

Just keep picking your selections on the same betting slip and then enter your free bet at the finish.

Don't lie, men. 888 security will ban you for constant scripting and sitting out. I will make proofs in a few days with screenshots of you sitting out and videos of you scripting. I see you are already afraid of it and don't keep more than few stacks on your 888 account.

I've reported UncleSahar scipting with video here and now he is in 1-month ban. So will you.

How exactly could you prove the scripting part with screenshots or videos ?

I never used any third-party software except HM2 and I was also falsely accused of "seating aids/script" a few times ago.
Do you have any idea which consequences that kind of accusations can have for a honest player ?
My account wasn't banned because I simply don't use any of that stuff, but since I was falsely accused, I almost stopped to play on 888 because I'm scared that my account could be really blocked just because a slow idiot can't understand that someone is faster than him at sitting on tables.

This is normal speed video of your scripting, my friend. No way you can insta sit on reserve just with a hand and a mouse. 0.34455 sec?

Does somebody here really think that UncleSahar isn't scripting on this video?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIow...ature=youtu.be

It is a shame that scripters come on this forum and try to lie in public.

MY scripting ?
Are you crazy or just stupid ?
I'm not mehmet, I'm not uncle, I'm not any of your guys in your videos, what are you talking about ?
And that 5sec bad quality video doesn't prove anything at all, btw, we can't even read any names properly. If I didn't know you were talking about the name "UncleSahar", I probably couldn't even guess it on the screen.

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: July 2, 2017

Mega Dozen 4th year Anniversary

Yesterday, we ran a special version of our most popular low buy-in Sunday tournament – “The Mega Dozen Celebration” – to mark the Mega Dozen’s four-year anniversary.
The $12 buy-in tournament usually features a $25,000 guarantee, but we doubled it for the special edition.

That was smashed when 6,263 entrants (2,651 rebuys) took to the felt and created a nearly $100,000 prize pool! After 11 hours and 11 minutes, Romania’s “BehindSpace” finished as the last player standing to capture a $11,853 first-place prize.

If you recall, back in May, “BehindSpace” finished third out of 873 players in the XL Inferno #35 $20,000 Monsoon for $4,234.
“DuduPa1986” Wins Mini Mega Deep

Meanwhile, the $22 buy-in $30,000 Mini Mega Deep attracted 1,262 runners (564 rebuys) and saw Canada’s “DuduPa1986” receive a nice return on investment by winning a $6,208 prize.

Back in May, “DuduPa1986” finished runner-up in the XL Inferno #89 $15,000 Tornado for $3,694, which was actually more than the $3,559 winner “Toilet_Po8L” received thanks to a heads-up deal.

“DuduPa1986” also finished eighth in the $320 buy-in $80,000 Baby Whale for $2,637.
Japanese Pro Akira “Clutch_Hero” Ohyama Claims 2 Titles

The $109 buy-in $20,000 Sunday Lightning 6-Max drew 167 players and surpassed the guarantee by creating a $24,600 prize pool. It took Japan’s Akira “Clutch_Hero” Ohyama eight hours and 19 minutes to claim the title and $5,904 first-place prize.

Amazingly, he’d go on to notch an even bigger score when he topped a field of 203 players to win the $320 buy-in $80,000 Baby Whale for $18,898.50!

Back in 2015, Ohyama has a big year. First, he was name an 888poker Ambassador in May, and then six months later hit $2 million in career online MTT winnings.

When it comes to Japanese online poker players, they don’t get much better than Ohyama.
Emil “Ejsenhoven1” Ohlsson Wins Sunday Breeze

The latest $55 buy-in $20,000 Sunday Breeze attracted 493 players and created a $24,650 prize pool.
That was distributed to the top 63 players including “tcavallin” (27th for $147), who was chosen as the qualifier to join Parker “tonkaaaap” Talbot and Griffin Benger on Team Canada in our “The 8-Team” promotion at the 2017 World Series of Poker.

Emil “Ejsenhoven1” Ohlsson defeated “Sarkus89” in heads-up play to take down the $4,683 top prize.
Ohlsson’s last win on 888poker came back on October 27 when he won the $55 buy-in $12,000 Monsoon for $2,941.
The “icebearrr” Roars at Mega-Deep

Argentina’s “FacundoG19” claimed a “Fish ‘N’ Chips Series” title on Sunday when he came out on top of a 1,006-player field to win the $30 buy-in $25,000 Sunday Deep-stack Swordfish for $4,979.
“FacundoG19” Claims Title for Argentina

Argentina’s “FacundoG19” claimed a “Fish ‘N’ Chips Series” title on Sunday when he came out on top of a 1,006-player field to win the $30 buy-in $25,000 Sunday
Deep-stack Swordfish for $4,979.

What to watch out for:

The “Champion-Chips” micro series, which will feature buy-ins ranging from $1-$50, is right around the corner!
For the second year in a row, 18 events from July 23-30 will offer $150,000 in guaranteed prizes.

For eight days leading up to “Champion-Chips,” from July 15-22 to be exact, we will be running qualifiers at 12:05, 18:05 and 23:35 GMT every day.
Each qualifier awards 50 seats to its corresponding “Champion-Chips” Series Tournament.
