Yeh i guess you're right but for low/mid stakes grinders wanting low (ish) variance schedules (ie early morning through to mid afternoon GMT time) 888 is about as good as it gets. Party is obviously OK but only tournaments on the hour and little variety, Full Tilt is dead and also seems a rip off through exchange rates, IPoker is lol and the Stars schedule is riddled with turbos!

hello , today i played a session and suffered a very small disconnection during my play but managed to get back online before my hand was folded ... i ended up winning the hand (100bbs~ @ nl100) but after i finished my session and analizing it i realize that pot wasnt awarded to my bankroll , i already mailed support hope they can fix it or i will have to leave the site , i was wondering if any of you guys have experienced something similar

888 rep help me with this please , i already mailed support 9 hours ago and nothing

also my deposit bonus doesnt show on my cashier and i think maybe thats the problem why i have less br than it should
You need to allow up to 72 hours for support to reply to your query.

email them and ask them to change your account to USD transactions only.

now i get paypal or my bank conversion rates (and dont get shortchanged on my withdrawls like 888 do if you dont have account set up this way)

You guys have to seriously reconsider this VIP system.

With the previous system, if no games were running I would often jump in some lower stakes games, not take them too seriously, and I usually wouldn't do that well, probably break even, but in my mind at least I was getting more hands in and thus more rakeback at the end of the month.

Alternatively I would play another reg HU where I often had no edge or was -EV, just to try and get a game running and again in my mind at least I was getting some more rakeback at the end of the month.

With the current system I will never play lower stakes or battle tough regs or even play in games that aren't 'great', there is simply no point when all we get is 1-2% rakeback (lol!) instead of the previous 20-30%.

Ultimately it leads to less volume, less games and surely less rake for you guys. There has to be a better middle ground that we can find.

I wish 888 would be ready to enter some sort of dialogue, but they are acting as Party did 3 years ago : immature, scummy and unwilling to discuss options. Obviously that changed after they dropped 10 spots in the traffic rankings...

I mean one of the weird things is that i get mails from PCI@cassava.net.
When i write back i get this:
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

PCI@cassava.net

Also they ask me to update personal info probably because of a changed mail which is not my fault but GMAILs, they changed from googlemail.com to gmail.com. They send a link where i am supposed to update my info, AND I CANT LOGIN (my username and password are correct and i can login to the lobby)!

Hello 888 rep,

I am having some issues with a withdrawal and was wondering if you were able to help?

I made a small min $30 deposit with Insta debit to activate it as a withdrawal method (i was trying to avoid currency conversions) but unfortunately my bank blocked the transaction. I spoke to insta debit and they asked me to 'settle with the merchant'. So I emailed 888 asking them to either remove the $30 from my account or alternatively let me pay them with my visa, 888 responded saying the deposit was cancelled and so didn’t need to be reversed and everything was ok.

I also withdrew some money to my usual visa method, still leaving 1K in my account.

I then received another email form the security team saying that my withdrawal was on hold because of the insta debit issue. So I replied copying my other email chain and again asking that if it actually was still an issue, they ideally take the owed funds out of my account or else let me pay them.

That was 5 days ago and despite emailing them 2 more times they are not responding and still withholding my withdrawal?

I haven’t played since making the test deposit as I don’t want to until this is resolved(as I don't want to be accused of wagering funds that weren't mine etc) and wasn’t able to play this weekend as planned because of this.

I just rang 888 support to try and resolve this, but they just told me to email the security team, but since they aren’t responding to me I’m not sure what to do?

Could you please answer some general questions about the new rewards scheme.

(1) I assume that the organisation put together a set of aims and objectives for the new rewards scheme before making such a big change. What were they?

(2) In the old rewards scheme, players were rewarded for playing a lot of hands. There were incentives to increase volume because this lead to greater returns from the reward scheme per dollar spent by the player. This appears to have been reversed. Greater volume leads to lower returns per dollar spent at the site after a certain point. Was this a deliberate strategy to discourage high volume play, or an accidental byproduct of introducing what you may consider a fun new rewards program?

(3) How does the total spend on rewards by the site after the changes compare to the total spend before the changes?

(4) I assume you get customer feedback from various other places. Taking into account all the feedback you are receiving from the various places, how well would you say the new rewards program has been received by your customers?
