888 just crash?

i just hopped on 888 for the first time since february

in that time they put in the 'wait for bb' thing

this is HELL for jackpot tables since they make the 'post jackpot' button ticked


in 3 days i have ended up posting utg or posting jackpots like 8 times......... you have to quickly untick the wait for bb, then untick post jp, then tick wait for bb....... and sometimes it still randomly posts you



this is just another nuisance in the long line of BS nuisances this site has

whoever runs this site better thank god that they came up with the idea to have the jackpot tables which brings the fish in,without fish no sane person would ever dream of playing on this incompetent site

I stongly doubt that the jp posting is incompetence. The way it works is completly voluntary and on purpose. It's ****ty and scummy but it's not incompetence

But yeah you're right, the number of fish is the only reason why this site is relevent.

i'm sure you have, and don't take my bitchy attitude against you personally...... but i also know that 6 months from now when i quit playing once the weather gets nice and the fish disappear NOTHING will have changed

and i will have lost $100+ because of it

hell i can't even have auto top up on because it deals me out of the sb 30% of the time when I have auto top up on... meaning i have to miss my button and post a full bb in the co (something i complained about 2 years ago, clearly you should only have to post the sb if you paid the bb, but on 888 you have to post a full bb)

so now every round i have to top up myself because the site is incompetent

for years we have been saying one simple thing: GET A POKER PLAYER TO TELL YOU WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE SITE

hell pay me a small consultancy fee and ill tell you what needs to be fixed in 10 minutes

or just keep raking in the money you dont deserve because you came up with teh jackpot idea 15 years ago and have done nothing to improve the site since

I am telling them since I started playing on 888 when and where bugs occur. At the beginning I wrote them emails directly but nothing changed. Then I started complaining here on the forum to put some pressure on them. Was hoping it might wake up someone before all those problems get to much attention. But each and every time I only get the answer: "Can I have your username, so I can escalate it". It's nice but as said, I already addressed software issues and/or bot assumptions directly to Casava via email but nothing changed. Ok, one outstanding bug they managed to fix after I complained via phone and told them that I am going to make it public if the bug will still be there in 2 weeks (there was a possibility not to pay any blinds on the snap tables which some players found out and made lot of money for months and no one cared, can you guys imagine this? How can a bug like this be there for months and how can no one from 888/casava ever recognize this? )

Anyways, once fish will have left 888, this network/site is going to die the quickest death you can imagine. There is absolutely no reason for a ambitious poker player to stay there. Highest rake, worst vip, pathetic software, incompetent customer support (except 888rep here, he seems to be there for us), bot infected with no proactive prevention from the operator, etc.

I have absolutely no idea what is going on within their headquarter, what kind of people are working there, who is in charge. But you don't need to have an inside view to know that something very important is running wrong. A good start would be, as kick2dante said, get a bottom up view and let an online poker player consult you and hell, hire some new tech guys and at best get a new management as well. It's absolutely incredible what you exptect to your customers.

If you click Start on your computer then put 888poker in the search box and look for files and folders your 888poker folder should appear and just click into the folder and your notes should be in there.

Same getting cannot connect contact support message

In those hands in the list there is at least 2-3 times when somebody join the table and post blind from different position than bb. How is that possible in SNAP table ?



So the original problem which isn't in the quote is that sometimes when I join SNAP table I'm forced to post blind or blind+dead without being in BB. My screen name is that sweet Mary Jane.

Is it possible that the support is pretty clueless about what they are doing?
Cashier window showed me a pop up to get a deposit bonus (the only way to even get to live support because the normal support was disabled), and the support staff wrote "do you mean the 1st deposit bonus? You already claimed that" and cut the connection. It could have easily been resolved.
Support member was 'Christine' if it matters.
With live support members like this plus slow email support I don't know if I even want to deposit anymore now.

i sometimes seriously wonder if it is just pure incompetence with this site/software or bad intentions/wanting to make the site as an unpleasent experience for regs as posible. I mean the level of incompetence is simply too high

What's wrong with the Jackpot tables? The JP button is gone and you can see in the lobby, that the jackpot isn't growing.

Is there an issue with the 888 client writing hand history's at the moment ?
I have a new PC and on re-downloading the client my hand history is not being saved in the folder requested

I try to take time to take notes on players and tag players but the next day I realise my efforts were pointless and most of the notes have disappeared/not saved. I emailed support at least 6 months ago and they replied that they knew about the problem and were doing they're best to fix it. Some day maybe.......Also I get sat out of snap tables everytime i reload to 100bbs, they knew about this problem months ago too......

Sorry if this has been covered before, but is there a ready solution to the problem I described in the 888 mttc thread? If there is, please assist. If not, it was mentioned a few times in the mttc thread and would benefit users who don't tile tables if a solution was worked on.

You need to go into the Game Settings and make sure Flash The Taskbar is checked..
