When I opened my 888 lobby today, I had a bonus offer, but when I click on the Internet link, it goes to this page http://promo.888.com/2013/888poker/c...ositOffer.html

It says 2013 in the link, how come did I receive this bonus offer today?

And btw is there a way to open an 888 link in Firefox or it just works with IE?

I don't know why it says 2013 but the offer is currently live so maybe you could give support a phone call to make certain.
You can find the numbers in the poker lobby cashier.
The links open in Firefox for me.

Maybe there was still a file left from the old version after you uninstalled and that would cause you problems when you installed the new one.

My problem is not that the reinstalation isn't working. My problem is that I can't even load the english version of your homepage to get a new setup file. The links you provided work but when I go to "download 888 poker" the tab is just closed on firefox and loads forever with nothing working on chrome.
Maybe it's becase I try to access from Austria, which is weird cause the german client works just fine.

Now the german version isn't working as well. I could download it but the client can't connect.
BTW I have avast blocked when I try these things as it seems to have caused the problem in the first place.

FIRST MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR NOTES OR YOU WILL LOSE THEM.

Click START then SEARCH and put 888poker in the search field and click ALL FILES AND FOLDERS. Delete anything that shows up.
Then do another search but this time put Paciific Poker in the search field and delete anything that shows up.
Then make sure you RESTART your computer BEFORE you attempt to reinstall the poker client.
See how that works for you.

while the new table layout is beyond god awful, you can change it to the green table layout thats clean like the original blue...just a heads up for multi tablers who are currently on suicide watch

Now I finally could access to your homepage. Once I could download the installer file I could download the client with no problems. Seems to me like the problem was simply with your homepage.
However my notes are gone. I saved them and replaced the new player notes file (documents - 888poker - player notes) with the old one but nothing happened.

They changed it a while ago that you need to do the following:

really annoying when it stops and then they wont let you manually do it because u r waiting on the auto........

Just click MY DOCUMENTS then 888POKER and then click on your user name then drag the PLAYER NOTES onto your desktop.
When you have reinstalled just do the same again only this time drag the notes from the desktop where you have saved them and drop them back into your user name.
This should only take you a few minutes to do.

Maybe you wanna play just a few hands on the micros. Than your client will write a new file "player notes". If you substitute this one by the old one you should be fine. On my computer the order is called: player name and in ths folder there is another folder with the very same name but the player notes don't go into this folder which is very confusing.

Or go into the cashier in the poker lobby and you will find a list of phone numbers for different countries if you want to call them.

sigh this site makes me feel like an 80 year old trying to use a camera for the first time......... redownload the software for the 2nd time in 3 days again all that shows up is the lil piece of paper on my desktop not the full icon, i have to click "run as admin" to play........ this is after deleting everything that said 888 or pacific poker

now i play a round of micros make a few notes to put my old notes in and nothing shows up, not even my username as a folder for the notes

log into 888 today to see ive been demoted from plat back to gold wtf? thought it was yearly? i was 79% towards VIP too. Is there anything that can be done 888 rep? seems impossible to get to VIP

Can you give suport a call and they will be able to look into your poker account and advise you more.
You will find a list of countries phone numbers in the poker cashier.
