I've been playing at 888 for nearly a year now but have a problem with the software since last update (3-4 days now). I'm kinda disappointed in the support; no response whatsoever to my repeated requests for help.

After getting a msg to update software, the downloading/installing didnt go fully well. Ever since when I start 888 it gives a standard error msg (asking me to look for online solutions and close the program) that i cant pass by. Repairing through the uninstall function or uninstalling completely and reinstalling arent helping, problem stays.

Mailed the support three times now, got online through a diff pc to get to the support chat where I was asked to email a screenshot... but 0 reactions. Very disappointing so far. Anyone here experienced the same problem (and knows how to solve it preferably!)?

My internet is fine and working but last night and today LuckyAce Poker keeps disconnecting. Very annoying. Is this not happening to others?

Nevermind think I solved the problem.

To be constructive I wish the Lobby didn't automatically minimize whenever I opened a table.

Very nice automatic response... especially since I do not use Windows 7 (and even funnier cause I used a friends pc to try to get help through 888 chat support... on a windows 7 system!)! Does anybody here have any idea what it could be? The exact error msg (in dutch, same for using repair at the complete end):

"poker werkt niet meer"

"online naar een oplossing zoeken en dit programma sluiten"

Hey guys,

I've been In contact with 888 poker for over a week now trying to get a tournament hand history from them. Anyone out there have any idea if this is even possible or how long it may take? I've gotten automated replies as well as a reply from an incompetent csr that said the file was attached to the email, obv not!! I'm starting to believe that they are not capable of this but don't want to tell me they can't do it. Anyone run into this sort of problem before?

Currently it is not available through e-mail. With the improvements make to the HH replayer, it may not be far off, but can't commit to anything.

You can save HH's to your computer through the Lobby > Settings > Game Settings

Not sure why they said it doesn't work on Windows 7. None of that sounds correct. I'll follow up with this e-mail as well as your issue.

Maybe a silly idea, but have you tried a restore point before the update? Restore to that date which should give you 888 before the update, then uninstall 888 and reinstall the latest version

They will send you a hand "summary," detailing the results of the hands you played at a given table or in a given tournament. Not to the extent of a HH that I imagine you are requesting.

888 poker most certainly does work on windows 7, i have been using it for ages.

you have to run as admin but there are lots of programs like that

Don't know if anybody has mentioned this but the rake for husngs is just about doing my head in. Needs completely re-doing, why the hell is the rake higher in the turbos than the regular speeds? Just copy pokerstars rake structure... in fact beat their rake!



[edit] the super turbo husng structure is terrible.

Hi Sean/Aaron! I can give you additional information on the Omaha 8 crashing issue. I just played a short FLO8 session heads up, and every time there was a side pot, my client crashed. I hope it helps. Am I the only one with this problem? Could it be my system's fault?
I'd also like to get my hand history files, because I miss a lot of "big" pots because of the crashes. Is there an email address where I could send a request? Some years ago I just had to send an email, and the support sent me back my hand histories the next day. I made a request on this link http://888-external-en.custhelp.com/app/ask/prod/4 more than a week ago, but no answer. I'm not even sure they got it, that contact site looks useless to me. Every time I click on "continue" it gives me a timed out error message, or nothing happens.

the rake is atrocious,VIP rake back is bullcrap for micro/lowlimit players, since FTP had 27% rakeback for people that put 0 or 100% volume into their game, the same should be applied to 888 poker, also they should make FR cash game Video poker tables, and enable us to Multi table them. Definitely not only you. Happened to me as well when I tried after I heard about it. I'll pass along the info hopefully it helps.

I don't think they provide HH's by e-mail anymore (didn't know that they ever did). Just hand Summaries. Perhaps they stopped once they implemented the text histories being saved to the computer. I'll remind them once again that it would be beneficial to offer this service.

Made this argument in my last report. It's difficult to get them to change rake policies, but I won't take it off my "to-do list," until it's fixed.

Lobby > Favourites > New View > Drop down box where it says "Cash Games," change to "Scheduled Tournaments."

You can filter the MTT's from there.

as has been said before, a lot of us like the fact that the rakeback is pretty dodgy, because it means that there are no regbots on the site.

also, if you are willing to deposit every month, you can use the deposit code mentioned numerous times in this thread, which effectively gives you an extra 25% rakeback as a bonus.

is there any way I can save my preferred table layout on 888? I want to tile and when I get all my tables open I can click on 'tile', but then when I exit the tables and start again the tables open at regular size and at diff spots. Would be cool if 888 could remember your layout. Kinda tilting when multitabling not to have this feature.
