No rakeback, no Americans allowed.

I cannot connect to 888.com or LA.com or get the installer to connect to the internet. Seems like I'm the only one in the world with this problem and I can connect to everything else totally fine. My firewall allows 888 through.

Please help.

Disconnect for everyone?

I'm pretty pissed off. The software disconnected me (while internet/poker stars running perfectly). Have sent an email for a refund on the SNGs/MTT I was in.

I had this once before. Has anyone else?

What time did this occur at? edit: because I've had no problems today.

Chat reassured me that I would not be disconnected again. I was just disconnected at the start of 2 HUSNGs and I lost 80% of my stack in one of them. Such a joke.

Got my refund and can get a refund for the HUSNG if I send them the ID, so that's good.

I'm aware this will sound fishy, but does anyone see way more quads on this site than anywhere else?

A thing I would like very much to be fixed is the changing focus of the windows when the action comes to me. I tried ydy and the day before ydy to play 5 tables of NL6, FR, cascade and all I got were lots of anger and 4 buy-ins lost. Changing focus to the table where the action comes to me is very annoying to me. Why? Well consider these examples:

1. I get dealt 2 cards at table #1. The window receives its focus. A second later, the second table gets two cards. The window changes focus again. So, all I see is two windows changing focus a second away. I make my decision at table #2, but I have to find table #1 to do the same. With 3 more tables, I cannot do that
2. Another table might receive focus while I am playing a hand (and actually thinking about what should I do).

And these are only two important annoying things which happen from this focus changing thing. A third annoying thing (less important however) is in the chat box. I type something at table #1, meanwhile the action gets to me at table #2. Half of the sentence is at table #1 and the other half - at table #2.

My suggestion is not to change focus anymore, but to do only the flashing buttons taskbar thing. Or, you can do like Pokerstars: it remembers the order of tables where the action is to me, and switches them accordingly.

I don't after I got screwed by a couple of guys communicating their cards on the same table to each other playing together in a tourney vs me.

Than actually talking about it on chat, I sent the screens in but I got nothing.

These connectivity issues are getting ridiculous. I'm dropping out 10 times a day

If I'm understanding your problem correctly, you can change the settings so that the tables don't pop up when they require action. From the client, it's Settings - Game Settings - then uncheck the "Pop up the game window" option.

Is there an option to stop the lobby from minimizing when you open a table? I can't seem to find it.

Anyone know any decent sites for trading 888 funds?

-note taking is impossible with any action canceling the note.

-multi tabling for me cant go past 6 tables due to the focus issue and that really sucks when you have AA on one table and are getting ready to shove and instead another table pops up and you shove 56!

-Being able to see the players origin would help,I some times find myself talking to a table that doesnt speak English and it would help figure out the softplayers.

-more filters for the lobby,like being able to filter it down to one style of game and buyin.

-pop ups should take me to a lobby of that tourney if I click on it,otherwise those pop ups are useless.

-reduce the rake on STTs

You can't see players origin? In the list is their country flag, and mouse-over name displays the country name.

On the mac version you cant,a lot of suck in the mac version actually.

not sure what people are complaining about with connectivity issues, i actually find it is more reliable than stars in australia anyway.

- Note taking with HEM works fine obviously, never tried with their software.

- The focus issue can be fixed by going to Settings - Game Settings - then uncheck the "Pop up the game window"

- You can see where people are from either from the lobby or by hovering the mouse over their name on the table.

- Cash game filters are solid, but I have no idea about tournament filters.

- No idea about popups.

- Reduced rake across the board would be most welcome.

- No rb, just VIP.

I don't think this is possible with the current software.

I like how the VIP system is already. I myself don't get a lot back but this keeps the most serious players away and also the level of skill on 888 makes up for everything else.
