Re: **The New and Official 888poker Players' Thread**

Are you ever going to allow rakeback, or at least improve the **** reward system you've got currently?

I actually don't mind the software, but there's no value being added on your end.

I've also made two deposits, and both times was only offered some crappy instant bonus for a fraction of my total deposit, even though I repeatedly asked for a welcome bonus code (your live chat reps are inept)

Try 150SPRING if you want a reload code.

Yeah the reward system is a big joke. Those cashback percentages are ridiculous. Who the f cares about those ****ty $100 freerolls, where there are like 3000 entrants, and if you final table, you can win $2.
Give us a decent rakeback, 10% to bronze, 15% to silver, 20% to gold, and so on. Or lower the sng rakes from 8-10% to 4-5%, or follow Merge and pay a daily 35% rakeback for everyone.

I would like better rakeback but you have to be careful what you wish for.

Better rakeback brings more grinders. More grinders makes for worse games, which reduce your winrate.

You can make a decent enough clip at $50nl and $100nl on there because the games are softer than anywhere else.

As long as they don't make me grovel for a reload bonus every month, it doesn't fuss me too much, as with gold status and a reload bonus, you can get ~25% effective rakeback.

You can get reload bonus every month?

Does that mean they have rakeback to begin with?

I remember there was something on the website saying 2% cashback (is that considered rakeback?)

and vip levels get something like 18%-36% (I would check, but i'm at work)

Re: **The New and Official 888poker Players' Thread**

Gold works out around 10% and today, I got a reload for $150 that clears at something in the region of 15%-20% but I rake more than the reload each month, which is why overall, I'll be getting around 20% I guess.

If you only do enough to just make Gold every month and get a reload every month as well, your bonuses will equate to something in the region of 27%.

If you beg hard enough, getting a reload at the start of the month is possible. However, I would probably still play there without it, such is the quality of games compared to other sites at the same limits.

Who exactly do you ask for the reload cos the rep certainly isn't going to do anything anytime soon?

When you go in the cashier and that box pops up offering a reload, just chat to the operator and try to haggle because they don't always offer the best you can get straight away.

888 rep just sent me a PM trying to tell me that it is against the regulations to have accounts on different skins across the 888 network.

I'm beginning to think that the bloke doesn't have a clue.

From the way the network has been operating in the last few months, alot of things doesn't surprise me anymore; they probably changed management or something as of late.

Re: **The New and Official 888poker Players' Thread**

I only started auto-importing my hand history recently, so is it too late to get my hands before that?

Basically I'm up 20BI, but I've only been tracking since I've been up around 8BI so that's all my HEM shows.

It probably is. 3 years ago when the room was called Pacific Poker, the support was kind enought to send the HH files in email, but I heared they don't do that anymore.
Every time you install a poker client, make sure it saves the HH files, and store them for 9999 days before you start playing.
