Diamond maybe. Elite.... well... what your saying is your all of a sudden going to become the highest raking player in NJ? Currently theres one player who has raked 25k in a month, once - maybe twice, and no one else has even come close. Id imagine youd have a hard time making Elite in 6 months with the amount of HU action there is, if your a good reg able to hold a table.

You do know that HU is offered on Party/Borgata, but I have assume you dont currently play it though? I only say that bc if you did you would know theres basically zero action if your a good reg. If your a big fish then yea your right someone will play you all day. Your not a fish right? Or maybe no one knows yet.....

lol its def not illegal.

Only thing that has to be done from NJ is account changes involving money. Debits and credits and such.

The rest of the crap, it doesnt matter.

Have you had any luck finding the source of your geo location problem murdahc? I've had some trouble this week too. At first I thought it was just PokerStars, but then had the same problem a couple of times on 888. I ended up restarting my computer a couple of times, but that will be a real pain if that's the solution in the future. (by the way, I'm on a Mac.)

There are probably some programs that the sites don't like.

I went into Task Manager. In startup I disabled everything but McAfee. In the tasks I killed programs such as Team Viewer and something starting with VPN

Can you do something to "step" up the action or at least let me use them to enter regular cash SNGs?

It seems they simply eliminated the tickets over the weekend. I had $118 worth of them and they've disappeared.

I guess I'll have to be the one filing the complaint.

Just started to play on PokerStars.NJ. Seems like even the fishier players have TAGGish stats preflop. And there are like 5 regs to 1 fish ratio on most tables. Where are these good players coming from? Or a better question yet, where are all the fun players on Pokerstars?

PSNJ have just started advertising the site & SCOOP begins soon. I'm guessing that will improve the ratio a little. Pure guess.

Since Pokerstars' arrival alot has been said regarding the demise or eventual demise of the other 2 online poker platforms. Alot of those rumors were unfounded and the evidence is proving that the NJ online poker economy benefits from having a few brands to choose from regardless of how much market share or traffic each one captures. Especially if you play MTTs, having a few different sites to play on really enhances the overall experience. Sure, each site does somethings better than the others, but thats why variety is important because having more options as players is always better than having less. Borgatapoker, for example, has built huge momentum in qualifying players online into their land based events for a fraction of the buyin. This article highlights Borgata's commitment to NJ online poker:

Does anyone fully understand WSOP's happy hour promo?

This line is a little confusing: "Redemption: Winning patrons will receive the APPs via their Internet account within 72 hours of the end of the promotion."

I assume that means I won't get the double APPs daily, but does it mean the APPs can still be converted into rakeback at the end of the promotion?

They ran a double APP promo quite some time ago. It did not say anything about WSOP points. I e-mailed support and asked if we would get WSOP points on the double APPs. The answer I got was yes, but I was pretty sure it was wrong. And it was wrong.

So, I'd assume that no, the double APPs will not count for WSOP points and cannot be converted to cash, but rather are only for improving your status level.

888 had this same promo a week or 2 ago and the bonus was indeed credited AFTER the promotion ended.

I have a free usb wifi adapter that one of the sites sent me last year. Lately, PSNJ has been geo-locating me who knows where. I live near Toms River, far from any boarder. Right now, my internal wifi sees 5 networks while the usb adapter only sees 1.
I've been looking on Amazon for a better one, probably with an antenna, but not sure which one to order. I don't trust 5 star reviews with only 1 reviewer. I also don't want to spend more than $20.
Any advice is appreciated.
