Anyone figure out how to solve the password problem when registering on 888/wsop? No password I put in with any combination or characters, numbers, and special characters is working.

Just fyi, after hours of issues with Borgata/Party address verification, I decided to enter my old address. Voila! Too bad I haven't lived there in 6 years. :\

Yes, Teamviewer launches another process as soon as you force it to close. Thus why I had to uninstall. I don't know if we can do a FAQ of problems but add that to the list for anyone who also uses their laptop for collaboration

I've seen people mention the rake but haven't seen any numbers. How high is it?

I am having no luck here. Ultimate poker is super slow and cannot verify my location using LOKI.
Party/Borgata says I am not in NJ once I sign in.
WSOP says I am running remote control software and I have no idea what it means, I am do not have Teamviewer on my computer.
ugh

it was team viewer... thank you. I deposited 60 bucks, was playing for about 10 minutes then got kicked off in the middle of a hand all of a sudden saying they could not verify my location.

Wow figured out what address the system had me listed at. It is crazy because I have not lived there since 2006 or so. They never updated even though I moved back to New Jersey awhile ago.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like WSOP has a slightly lower rake than the others. After a quick glance they have a lower max rake on some games, the same max rake on others and they do .01 for every .20 in the pot while others take .01 for every .18 in the pot. Not a huge difference, but as we know, it adds up over time.

Wow, even if you used or opened any credit card n the last 7 years a major credit reporting firm would have that info. Not sure who they are using, but the good news is that they helped you solve your problem pretty quickly.

well done.

I tried this. I filled out the form, hit submit, page just sat there loading. Now I can't even google the page to try again. I'm glad some folks got on today though. I'll hope that getting a USB adapter will help avoid my issue since I'm certain it's not an issue with my IP address. 3 hours later, I got a reply from Support on WSOP and Borgata. Neither one was of any help.

Hey Player

We're sorry but we're currently unable to verify that you are physically located in the state of New Jersey. This could be because your IP address is not being recognized as from within New Jersey, or we were unable to verify your location over Wi-Fi.

- Make sure your Wi-Fi and/or GPS is turned on
-You should have at least 2 other available Wi-Fi networks within range
- If you are located very close to the border, we might be unable to accurately verify your location

We hope that one of the above suggestions will resolve this issue and look forward to seeing you at the tables.

Should you need any further assistance, please feel free to contact us again.

Thank you for contacting Borgata Online Gaming Customer Service.

Further to this difficulty we would like to let you know that you should not be running any ‘Virtual Network Computing' software on your computer. In case you are running a ‘Virtual Network Computing' software you will need close/disable it in order to be able to login and resume play.

What is ‘Virtual Network Computing'?
Virtual Network Computing is often described as "remote desktop" software which is a graphical desktop sharing system to remotely control another computer.

Some of the widely used VNC software's are; TeamViewer, Real VNC, GoToMyPC, Cisco VPN, GoToMeeting and etc.

In case you have further questions, we will be more than happy to assist you. We are available 24 hours a day.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site.

Sincerely,
Plamen,

I have no idea why they sent me that response. I never had an issue with that message and it was not at all mentioned in my email. Very poor job by support on that one.

I have no idea what the WSOP guy means by "at least 2 other available wi-fi networks within range". I am connected to my internet via wi-fi. Am I suppose to see geolocation as another SSID to connect to? Very unclear. They should of laid out better instructions for what to expect on each site for location.

I signed up at WSOP.com on my Mac. Played a little while, then got a message saying location cannot be verified. I logged out, then it worked again for awhile until I got the same message. I then played on Windows 8.1 without any trouble (another player that was getting disconnected stopped also getting disconnected, so it could be a coincidence it worked fine on my Windows).
Brag: Played $1 tournament, won it. I played connected to a WiFi network, I am in Linden.

I have no idea what they are talking about. I close out of all programs and applications, and brought up task manager, and nothing is running. I took a screen shot of my processes and will post them now. Can someone that knows a little bit about computers look at this screen shot and tell me if there is something in the processes causing this? Thanks.

Please click (bottom left in your screenshot) Show processors for all users and also the Services tab. If you can post those screenshots (or PM them to me) I will try to help. Warning, I am signing out for the night shortly, so be patient if you don't hear from me immediately

I'm on a mac too. I have been observing the tables for the past 20 mins(on mac) and did not kicked off. Hopefully they fixed it? I reported the problem to them through online chat.

Just come over to wsop, sommerset. It will be so enjoyable to stack you, son!

But seriously, what is the deal with 888 and wsop? I see a lot of people interested in 888 here. I already see non-2plus2 100% limping fish at wsop, tilting in chat and all. I have a feeling wsop is going to be where it is at.

Can you sign up for both, tho?
