I understand that this soft launch was to sort out issues with the sites. But I'm still not happy that WSOP allowed me to make a decent sized deposit. Then not allow me to play because my computer isn't wi fi capable.

If I can't play then I would like to be aware before I put money on.

I did not see anybody reporting these problems so I guess our location has a lot to do with this intermittent location verification problems. I hope they get it sorted out soon. I made deposits on both 888 and wsop. I'm experiencing the problems on both sites.

nj.partypoker is up but full right now. They give $15 free and $100 match bonus which I believe clears at 50%. They use the same rake as Borg so meh.

The registration process is pretty simple, but the geolocation software is trash. For WSOP I need to get a Wi-Fi stick before I can play. For Borgata, it has the browser plug-in, but that isn't working right since I am in NJ and it can't figure that out. I'm like 15 minutes over the bridges from Philly.

Overall, expected, but as long as I can get the issues resolved, I'm willing to cut them some slack at the start.

It changes constantly because new ones are always cropping up. I know of about 100 but I am sure there are more. No one will really give you a list because if you were to have one or create one or buy one not on that list it sort of defeats the purpose and would be found pretty quick anyway.

You just curious or do you fear you have something running that you cant turn off? If the latter, I can try to help you.

To be clear, they both use similar verifications. The plug in will verify you by your Wi-Fi connection. If you don't have a Wi-Fi connection, the plug in isn't malfunctioning, you would need the same stick you need for the other site.

I don't believe I have Wi-Fi. I am likely going to have to get a plug-in stick.

I don't understand how the Wi-Fi is needed though. I thought the concept was to use my phone, not the pc.

getting this message on WSOP.com. " Remote control software was detected on your machine. Due to regulations, remote control software cannot be running at the same time as the poker application. If you want to continue playing, close the remote control software and login again."

I have no idea what they are talking about. I close out of all programs and applications, and brought up task manager, and nothing is running. I took a screen shot of my processes and will post them now. Can someone that knows a little bit about computers look at this screen shot and tell me if there is something in the processes causing this? Thanks.

for those with the 'remote software' problem.

if you have teamviewer even installed on your computer you may get that error. uninstall it and it should work fine
