The 50k is a PP tournament.
Next weekend you might want to play a Borgata specific tournament.
This is how marketing works, two different companies trying to earn your business through promotions and advertising.
Borgata and PP are competitors that happen to share some liquidity.

Also got booted, 25 minutes into tourney. Popup says my hands will continue to be folded until I return to New Jersey. LOL. I haven't left my living room.

I think there is some confusion about Borgata vs PP. Everyone seems to think they are skins. If they were skins, you would not be making separate accounts on each of them. Using the terminology of the former site Tribeca Tables, they are separate cages sharing the same platform.

Cages are in competition with other cages. A single cage can have for marketing purposes multiple skins. Skins of the same cage aren't really in competition with each other. Crucial to the success of this model is that this competition between cages does not become cut throat.

The wsop app is not available on Google play I think. Is it only on iTunes? Sucks I wanna play at work and WSOP not available and party poker hasn't made one yet. Anyone know when it will be available for android?

get back on, take a commanding chip lead in a 10 dollar sit n go, and then i get bounced, and i'm placed sixth in the tournament. Looks like cash games only until they get this nonsense straightened out.

I downloaded the software on Tuesday and played for about 5 hours between Tuesday and Thursday. On Friday when I tried to log on, a software update kicked in and after that I could not be verified as being physically located in NJ. Being trying to log on ever since with no success. Today I uninstalled the nj.partypoker software from my MacBook pro (and also deleted the gc-browser-plugin-client_2_1_3 & gc-browser-plugin-client_2_1_7 from internet plug-ins' folder), restarted it and then downloaded the nj.partypoker software again (5 pm EST on 12/1/2013). It told me that my location could not be verified. Then I went on to nj.partypoker.com, and tried to play in browser; it asked me to download gc-browser-plugin-client_2_1_7 in order to continue, which I did and still no luck with verification. This is frustrating and I’m out of ideas at this point. I live within ten miles of AC and still can’t play on party poker and/or Borgata poker.
I’m aware that some people were able to get back to the tables in the past 24hrs. If anyone has any input on how they did to fix their geolocation verification problem with Borgata poker and/or party poker please share with us as I am sure I'm not the only one having difficulties accessing the tables tonight. Thanks.

Sadly, not going to happen. House Republicans will never let a bill come to the floor, because Bible-Belt members would raise a hissy fit.

Best way to get U.S. poker would be to mount a legal challenge to the provision of the UIGEA, basing off of recent and historical judicial rulings that poker is a game of skill, not luck, and eliminating online poker from consideration under the 'internet payment processing for gambling' part of UIGEA.

And as always, screw Bill Frist for adding UIGEA to the Port Security Bill back in 2006. Because as we all know, internet gaming comes through large container ships...

He said he will pass along the suggestion although I imagine if they do fix this issue it will be a while.

One other question. He said to me to be able to withdraw I need to send my ID and a utility bill. The bills accepted are Landline phone bill, water bill, electric bill, gas bill or rent bill. Problem is that my address is still at my parents house and all the bills are in their name. Anyone able to get verified for withdrawls using a different bill or address verification other than these 5 on Borgata?
Of course the question becomes why are you still living with your parents...

+1 - Seems like regular, working people, who rent or own their own home with a standard wireless router to a cable ISP have very few connection problems.

Thanks for the +1

Hope you're correct on the problems written about here. I may have to make a trip north & east soon to test this out for myself.

I have an ordinary TWC WiFi router. It's mostly ok, but I do get kicked off occasionally for "not being in NJ". (from Borgata)
I live in Edgewater, but I don't think the proximity to NY is the problem as others have been having the same problems from the middle of NJ.
I've only been playing cash games.

Party's 50k is ending entirely too late. It's a great tourney but with most people having to get up for the work the next day and a slow structure, they are going to shut a lot of people out. I know that this is the only week I'll be playing it unless it gets changed.

Anyone else wish the Party Poker Tourney could be railed by those outside NJ ?

really, your going to complain about this ?
If you were final tabling doubt you would complain about how late the tourney ran. Remember PokerStars Sunday million !!! lol......that thing ended when the sun came up, and drew MASSIVE #'s !!

Keep up the good work Borgata/PartyPoker !!!

it's legal online poker in the USA, and when you cash, you actually get paid ! (and btw.....the tourney's been running 4/5hrs and they are ITM....so whomever wins the 9k probably wont give a crap about being tired at work tmro)

The people having problems with geolocation and Mac computers need to try it on Windows via boot camp (it works for me in Windows but not Mac on same machine), or another Windows PC.

responding to my own post.....you can rail tourneys on party poker by going to lobby, finding tourney, and clicking on player of interest.....that will take you to that table.

Guess you cant rail cash games tho....unless I am wrong again

I accidently posted the following in the wrong thread, I'm reposting here...

As someone who has been known to degen on non-poker games, I was thrilled to find out that you can exclude yourself from all casino games and still be allowed to play poker. It's a pretty awesome feature that Borgata has, and maybe other sites as well.
