I decided to dust off this old account to access 2+2's legendary anti-cheating abilities and try to figure this out. I've been a professional online player for 14 years and mostly scoffed at cheating/rigged/scamming accusations but this is way different.
I don't know how to talk about it because I dont want to give away too many specific details to the people running it.

Club A same name as a middle eastern city
First very strange thing is the lobby, about 1 table per limit from PLO5 25/50 down to low stakes. Almost no full tables and almost only different nicks. So there would be a 5/10 table with 4-5 seats filled, and then a 10/20 table with 4-5 seats filled but none of same players. And then the whole lobby looking like this, open seats in games running at whatever stake you want. As a experienced player this immediately looks way off.
You guys all know the normal situation, same nicks across a range of limits with some odd names mixed in. Tables are often full with waitinglists or empty/1 waiting. I have NEVER EVER seen anything even close to this clubs lobby.
Gameplay between villains was extremely crazy and some very strange betsizing patterns. I dont want to go into details here but there are specific things in PLO that I would react to as very odd if a player did it ONCE, and here it was that same sizing thing over and over.
I didn't trust it and left after a few sessions and small losses.

Club B name sounds a bit like a famous streaming site
Same currency as Club A. Not as strange in the lobby but still a surprising amount of action and open seats. I immediately noticed weird sizing patterns again and villains again playing crazy against eachother and making unexplainable plays.
The sizing thing might not sound like much but if you know PLO and I gave you the details you would immediately agree. Because the sizing is so strange, and so consistent over many different opponents it is imo a very strong datapoint.
Left again after small losses.

Hypothesis would be that they get people to play there since games look very soft and are always running. I havn't figured out exactly what the mechanics are from there on but probably mass collusion wich would be extremely powerful in PLO5 knowing so many cards. Perhaps some bot network doing this automatically, or bots playing eachother and then the person grabs the controls when playing against the victim. This would explain the seemingly full lobby and horrible strange playing going on between the villains. I don't know but it sure is something going on.

Let's figure this out.

Unfortunately as poker players we are always facing the threat of bad actors.
There are so really good clean and soft games that exist on clubgg and other private apps in general, but they’re also rife with situations such as this. It’s very important that everyone does their own due diligence when it comes to deciding when and where to gamble and I do believe a lot of that responsibility falls on the players/agents that choose to play. That being said;

I’ve used to agent for these guys. I have a lot of relevant info and evidence to suggest that it is exactly as you suspect, a large collusion/card sharing/bot ring. If you pm I’d be happy to share relevant information and setup a call. Believe we have a mutual contact I’ve discussed this situation with. They definitely are cheating the community and would advise everyone to stay far away from these clubs specifically.

I have been searching for a decent club. I just came across a YouTuber. That isn’t super well known but I tried a club and it was odd the amount of tables had the same people. And then I thought well this YouTuber would probably be more trust worthy and I went to his club and the names of the tables were even the same with the same players “Bots” I’m guessing anyways. I really would like to find a decent club I can play at

Been a long time member of the community, same as you professional for about 14 years. Never really used 2+2 but I’ve asked our mutual contact to put us in touch prior to the post. Not sure how the pm system works here?

any place that uses SHEKELS as their actual currency is a scammy botfarm. i played in some isreali dump for less than a day before i noticed blatant patterns of cheating. non ante plo tables are populated almost entirely by bots, especially plo4. pretty easy to spot when the electricity goes out in the gulag and they all sit out at the same time.

According to the title, all clubGG unions are scams, I find that funny, I understand that it's not your intention but I would rephrase it.
Whether in Bros/PPP/X there is a risk-reward ratio that is impossible to calculate precisely because of collusion and the like.

There are so many solutions for professional players in ring-fenced countries that I'm surprised that some decide to take much greater risks with apps, and I'm not even talking about scams from the club and agent themselves.

There are very few apps in which there is an acceptable level of risk, and even in those, everything can change quickly.

Hi guys, I'm a new user of 2+2. I am a regular cash game player nl100/200 always playing on pokerstars, as the field is slowly dying, I would like to try playing on CLUB gg. I already have my trusted agent, so I'm not looking for deals. Taking a look at the various unions, so far I have found only the RAKE2HIGH union to be "regular" but I still notice some "strange" patterns between players and the general field. Having said that, I would like you to tell me which one in your opinion, for my level, is worth trying. Cheating certainly exists almost everywhere on apps, but I would like to understand if in some unions it has less impact and the vast presence of dead money from fish can make up for the possibility of someone telling each other cards, using bots or similar things. I hope I have been as clear as possible. Look forward.

just stay away. there's no in app security on clubgg. not that the other apps are any safer, but clubgg is a free for all for compromised games. its not even worth looking at.

That you should ask your agent, if he is trusted he must have high quality info about the field+game play, saying that is the best union you got is not good...
Nobody will tell you the best unions/apps in a public forum for obvious reasons

I think one of those clubs is Israel Kingdom Union

I played some of the bigger plo4 games they run in there. Very similar experiences.
Weird lobby, unconventional villains that play tough/good postflop against hero.

I know that on platforms like ClubGG, GGPoker, and others, poker bots and entire clubs of bots are thriving. Guys from pokerbotai.com once offered me a service as a club owner, using AI bots to maintain the 24\7 game at the tables, play with near-zero profit, and generate rake. I'm sure you've come across them.

Club GG in general isn't bad. I personally only play myself tough in Private Clubs, where i atleast know something about the Owner, mostly it worked out pretty well yet.

Also as well here counts for me, if something is too good to be true, it's probably. Meaning if the Action is so wild, while i am not part of it, don't believe it.
