I have been a Nordicbet customer over ten years.

Some days ago I could not to login to my poker/betting account anymore.

Some background information, this time I was not playing poker in my home country because I was travelling in South-America. So during my poker playing sometimes I had a foreigner IP address and sometimes my home country IP address (because I used sometimes a VPN program what gave me my home country IP, this was the only way to see my home country TV programs and get my local internet based services).

Nordicbet chat could not help, so I sent an email to the support guys.

This answer I got.

"Thank you very much for contacting us earlier,
We would like to inform you that we got feedback from our relevant team regarding your account and it will remain closed since you breached our "Terms and conditions".
This is regarding cooperation via several accounts which is strictly prohibited and therefor it final decision and your account can not be re-opened.
We hope that you understand and would like to wish you all the best and lovely day.
Best regards,
Lucy
NordicBet Customer Service."

This was the second answer what I got.

"Thank you for waiting a reply from us!
We apologise for this inconvenience regarding the account closure but we have received information from our game provider that you have played using multiple accounts which is not allowed under any circumstances.
I’ve thoroughly looked into the possibility to have your account reopened with our responsible department, and unfortunately the decision has been made not to offer to reopen it again. I understand that this wasn’t the reply you wanted to receive and want to thank you for your understanding.
Should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you very much for your cooperation!
We wish you a lovely day!
Best regards,
Roger
NordicBet Customer Service."

Sure I tried to explain my situation and also told that I have not broken any rules. No multiaccounts, no collusion. This was one email what I sent.

"I am spending my vacation in Colombia at the moment. Have been here some weeks now. I can send you my all hotel reservations and flight tickets. And yes, I am using a VPN program, so sometimes my IP address is from my home country and sometimes from Colombia."

I also told them my VPN program name and the license information (that it is legal and I have a valid paid license for it).

But no help, new answers what I got told that they will not re-open my account.

This means also that they stole my poker Cash Drop campaign winnings. The amount is fortunately not so huge (only about 100 euros).

Still this case was terrible and I cannot recommend Nordicbet to anybody (still maybe MPN has asked them to close my poker/betting account, Nordicbet is only a slave, I think).

could be that you have shared ip adresses with past people and they are assuming that their accounts are multiaccounts of yours . seems a stretch though as many countries have dynamic IP rather than static ip.

Can you play mpn using a vpn? And does it matter where you are logged in if you are logging only to your own account? When they are accusing you multiaccounting not breaching vpn tos. Or is it like KeithMM said? Feels weird though because in those countries everybody looks like playing multiple accounts.

Sure it is possible that I had a shared and same public IP address with other players. Nowadays many internet operators use Network Address Translation, so hundreds of people can have a same public ip address. And my VPN provider also uses this NAT, so I share my public IP address with other people when I am using a VPN.

But of course game provider should know that different people may have a same public IP address.

Yes, I can play in the MPN network when I am using a VPN. This VPN works only in the background and my internet connection works normally. Traffic only goes via my home country to the MPN network. So this VPN hides my real location in the world because I have my home country public IP address (countries have their own IP address blocks).

It sounds like they think you allowed someone else to play on your account, given the repeated change of country. Doesn't sound like they care enough about you to revisit the situation.
