A few days after Black Friday I approached Minted just looking for information about the site and network and to see what they might be willing to do to help Americans make the transition. They were caught offguard by the changes in the market which is pretty understandable and the initial response was slow.
But in just a short time they've shown a major commitment to improving. There were difficulties in getting money on, and within a week a new deposit method was provided to Americans. The fees on my first deposit were high, they reimbursed them to my account. There were problems multitabling with tables popping up at the wrong times. They fixed it. The bonus they used to offer was very difficult to clear. They listened to feedback on 2+2 and changed the bonus to be easier to clear within a matter of days.
Basically, any time somebody has presented logical feedback and suggestions that are kind of no brainers that would help everyone, Neil has gotten it done. The turnaround time on a larger site would typically be months for some of this stuff. When you post on 2+2 with questions/concerns, Neil responds. They reach out on facebook. They have live chat. They're making an effort to step up the promotions.
I feel like it's still a work in progress and that's actually very encouraging because I'm already pretty happy playing here. At this point I've felt confident enough in Minted to bring several friends aboard from a variety of backgrounds. Some of them super casual micro players. Some of them higher stakes grinders. Feedback from all of them has been great. The rakeback % is excellent. They provide basically an itemized statement of it every week for both dollar and euro play and the money shows up in your account weekly.
One month ago I was completely unfamiliar with this site, but with no hesitation at this point I'd feel confident in steering players their way. I'm sure there will be a ton more good feedback in threads like this. For me personally, I've probably already contributed most of what I could think of and they've delivered with their response.

I strongly agree. Nice post.

Re: ***Mintedpoker official support & promotions thread***
Actually one suggestion for the site/network.
I'm typically a full ring player but play 6 max on Minted because sometimes those are the best games running. However, I don't have any desire to play 4 max.
I've noticed that the filters only allow you to filter for HU, 6 max, or full ring. When I run that filter for 6 max and full ring I still have a ton of 4 max tables to sift through. If you're going to offer 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 handed tables, it would be nice to see the filters reflect the same thing. By no means is this critical but if at some point this was cleaned up a bit I think it would be an improvement.

Re: ***Mintedpoker official support & promotions thread***
Question, I was considering this site:
$200 min. Deposit, WU cashout (I believe).
Does cashing out some of your roll void the Bonus?
Min. to Cash out?
What happens if you use an affiliate instead of your in thread link?
Think UMW is a no go.
Are Nfuego and Tilt vying for MVP?

Re: ***Mintedpoker official support & promotions thread***
lol, nah, I did think about that and how obnoxious it could be if people go overboard competing for that. It should be fairly obvious though what's spamming the thread and what's useful. If I don't feel a post is constructive I'm not making one, with the MVP thing hanging out there or not.

Re: ***Mintedpoker official support & promotions thread***
I second everything NFuego has said ITT. I initially chose to give Raise and Fold (another Everleaf skin) my business because their cash outs seemed to be arriving the quickest out of the post Black Friday US facing sites. However, I have been impressed with Neil's posting regularly in threads related to Everleaf's network and if there's one thing Raise and Minted seem to have in common is two managers highly involved in assisting and helping the community, and I believe it's only a matter of when and not if they will surpass the likes of Bodog and Cake who seem to follow the FTP model of corresponding with players who need help.

Hi buzzin,
The main differences between all everleaf sites are the website, the client colours and most importantly the poker room promotions. To compare simply click on their promotions tab and compare their offerings to ours which are listed in our opening post.

Hi NFuego20,
Totally agree. Your comments have been noted and passed on to IT

Hi FutureInsights,
The minimum deposit using WU is $100 although to take advantage of the free $50 you’ll need to deposit $200. Before you can make a withdrawal you will need to earn 750 player points which is 75 USD or 50 Euro in rake.
The minimum cashout via WU is $100.
You’re more than welcome to register via an affiliate. The only part of our offerings that will not apply to you is the free $50 offer.
Regards
Neil

Re: ***Mintedpoker official support & promotions thread***
Hi
I have been playing on your site for a few months and I quite like it. But when playing multi table I can't make rebuy. It is ok up to 4 or 5 tables but after adding a few more table everything becomes slow motion when making a rebuy. Some times I got sit out until the rebuy screen appear. I think there is not an auto rebuy in the options. If you can fix these it would be nice.
Also there is a problem with the latest patch 3.27to3.28, after download i am having an internal error wihch says xxxxxxx.lst was not found.
And one more thing why do people keep sucking out my Aces

No not vying for MVP because I'm pretty sure I won't be able to make a deposit for a while. I need to Cashout some of the funds I have tied up at other sites(after 'Black Friday' I have a set number of total funds that when reached I Cashout from some sites). I was going to simply move from one site to Minted when making the Cashout I was already needing, but with the UMW issue, this doesn't look like its going to be possible for me until a later time.
For now, I haven't made a deposit(I would assume you would have to make a deposit to be eligible), and was only interested in finding out about the promo. As I normally do, I post a lot in various threads to help pass the time at work

Re: ***Mintedpoker official support & promotions thread***
Question: Will they ever merge the Euro Tables and Dollar tables and make it one global currency? Meaning...it seems like European players play on their Euro Tables and Americans on the American Tables, i don't know if i'm right but i don't think an American can play with the European people, merging them together would make for more players and more game selection, what you think?

Re: ***Mintedpoker official support & promotions thread***
I play there because it was the first site I found that I could easily deposit on after BF. Traffic is really low for my games/stakes, but hopefully that will improve. I have dealt very little with customer support, but when I have they have been quick to respond. I did go in and manually hack some of the obnoxious sounds (like the STT start up sound).
The software is not great, but it is definitely playable. Huds are iffy. For 6max cash games hm works, but it gets confused on 10 max, and does not recognize what a hu tourney is (the hh has no indication that it is an sng)
For recreational play, the site is fine. For major grinding, probably not so at this point in time. I would like to be able to grind out more volume, but low volume play is fine with me, too. Overall, I like the site. Hopefully when I make a withdrawal everything will go smoothly.

Hi axyshay,
I’m not aware of any issue with the latest patch. Can you send me an email with a screen shot to neil@mintedpoker.com ? The response we received from players that multi-tabled was very positive after the update last week. Are you still facing the same issues?

Hi Uchiha_Filipe
Although we have Euro tables and USD tables there are no restrictions in place preventing you from playing at either.

I know that usually they tell you the information of who it is from and stuff. It is kinda standard with WU. You need who sent it and your name. It must be exactly spelled I believe. Make sure your info is correct.

Hi JustLOLthruLIFE,
Go ahead and deposit, no reason to be 'iffy'
I have sent you a PM regarding the WU question however a previous deposit via WU is necessary to use it to withdraw.

Neil

Agree, I'm not a fan of the sounds. Particularly on a speed table. On a speed table even if you check the fold box before the action even gets to you, it STILL rings until the software takes the 1 second to fold your hand. And the ringing is a loud pestering ring. No joke, but the first night my wife walked into the room when I was playing on the site, my wife commented on the sound being annoying. Her comment was annoying, as I was multitabling and didn't want to hear it at the time lol.... but she was right.
It's truly not an issue on normal tables, but if there was one change to be made on speed tables I'd make it so that ringing doesn't happen until at least a few seconds after the action is on you. I'd also change the ringing sound to something that still gets your attention, but just isn't as obnoxious.

I have the same issues with my HUD, but I think HEM probably just needs to better adjust. The poker site puts out the software and the programmers at HEM and PT pretty much have the task of adapting to it. I've found that on 6 max and 10 max tables the HUDs work fine once you set your seating preferences and everything, EXCEPT when a table gets short handed. If you're playing at a full ring table with 5 players and a bunch of empty seats, forget it. The stats are all over the place. It also seems that the HEM software doesn't recognize 8 max tables properly and just assumes it's full ring and puts stats in the wrong places.
I've been lazy about it but I'll go ahead and shoot an email to HEM support just to let them know of those issues. Hopefully they take care of it in a future update.
