So don't flip out guys if it's been over a month and you haven't gotten it yet..that's what they're saying is SUPPOSED to happen.

I understand that this is a difficult time and everyone w/ money at stake is pretty uncomfortable, but times are different now. I personally think they're doing a fairly good job given how volatile the environment is right now. It seems as though they're doing the right things to minimize the chances of being a target to the doj..I think the fact that they dodged the latest indictment is a pretty damn good sign.

Now I'm not saying I'm happy/comfortable having a bunch of money on there right now..it's just that I think they're doing the best they can in today's climate.
I pretty much agree with this,
Merge stopped accepting US players (Until they can handle their current customers better)
CaronChris and RPMSeth have both been straight forward about the turn around times.
Merge claims to be looking into payment options for US.

If their thinking is, were not going to give the DOJ any reason to hurt us
and it takes longer to get paid then so be it. (6 weeks is not acceptable but I think temporarily we have to deal with it) then I'm fine with that.

I for one will be optimistically patient in hopes that some solutions will be coming soon.

To everybody that plays on Lock, check out the last 3 or so pages of posts (with special attention to what Rizen has to say). Things are certainly looking up on that skin, and if what Lock is working on comes to fruition, we will have by far the best cashouts of all the skins.

Hey can anyone confirm that Carbon check cash outs are indeed functioning properly? i.e It arrives in due time and can be cashed.
06-06-2011 , 05:27 PM

I see you posted in the HSNL reputable members xfers thread, you should probably try this one as well:

The account verification took about three days for them to review and approve documents.

Asked a withdrawal request on sunday, it was approved roughly 36h later, and the money was on my moneybookers account 5-15minutes later...

Rather fast considering all the stories I'm reading here...

Lock skin and I'm European fwiw.

Been lurking these threads forever now and finally got my password retrieved for 2+2..........

im in the same shoes as many of you US players...been playing for a living for close to 8 years now.

joined carbon after BF cashed out 5/16 got account verified 6/6 ........pending approval

the way i see it if you're playing for a living then either live off what you've saved or do what I'm doing and start searching for a real job(it aint pretty when the last 8 years of your resume is blank). while it may seem merge is doing a piss poor job of handling payment, they are just playing the cards that they've been dealt. VERY OPTIMISTICALLY i'm thinking at least another year before any kind of legislation is enacted for online poker in the states.

feel free to PM me anytime to chit chat or whatever really appreciate this community for years now

Powerhouse, I would be interested to know how your job search is going and if you have had any interviews yet, btw your PMs aren't activated yet. I have been playing exactly 8 years as well and so far have not resorted to looking for a job since BF. I would love to know how the process is going for you and what kind of places you are looking at.
06-07-2011 , 03:33 PM
how do i activate pmz?!?!? lol help

ummm as far as job search goes it sucks cuz unfortunately i quit college so i have to resort to entry level sales job or service industry job...........if i didnt blow my money this year on currency trading i would take my roll to play live but i pay all the bills in my house and need guaranteed income. once i get my PM working ill tell u exact details of the job im interviewing for ATM.
06-07-2011 , 04:36 PM
powerhaus

You have to post more to get PMs

i just got notice that blackchippoker will soon be offering an additional u.s. friendly payment method for selected players.
for obvious reasons it would be best not to discuss the details in public.
