The fee was going to be $15 on $100.

I printed out the chat, the 2nd agent said it can only be in person with "cash", I believe they are incorrect but that's what they told me. I am currently searching through alot of posts trying to find more info about this like Alex suggested, I am also waiting in live chat to speak with another agent.

Then you get the $10 insta bonus, so $5 fee, damn that still aint right. IMO they should cover the whole thing, especially if you have a mastercard/visa and they just aren't accepting it. If WU is you only option and it's going to cost you just $5, go for it. Maybe try to get another $20 and get a $12 bonus and it won't cost anything?

I am still waiting for my check withdrawal from Lock Poker that I made as soon as I heard about the online poker bust. It was a panic withdrawal because I feared the government may not be done shutting down sites. But now I'm glad I pulled the money out anyway. I liked the rakeback deals but two weeks later I am still waiting for them to approve my request and there is no live support available. I sent an email to support and the person who responded to it told me they would make my check a high priority. And still, nothing has happened. I have successfully withdrawn from CarbonPoker before and had no problems. Anyone know why this would be?

Was confirmed done in this thread. Someone said the whole process took about 15 min.

The network as a whole is backed up right now. I wouldn't worry. They are trickling out now.

Lock has a thread here in the forum, and you can contact Rizen here as well.

Thanks for the info, good to know. I wish you guys the best of luck if you do choose this network. I played there (on both Carbon and Lock) for a long time and never would have wanted to play anywhere else. But to me it's too risky to stay on any high profile site. I'm going to do what I did with Carbon and Lock and try to protect my money by playing on a low profile site since Merge and Bodog would likely be the next targets of government action but I hope everyone who does decide to risk it enjoys the site.

deposit page on carbon gives you the details of where to send the money. I did it today through wu and it worked. no problem.

Accepting those cards is what got Tilt and Stars busted (can't say much for Cereus, even though I have a defunct account, and play money in their casino is the bomb - they are really pushing by allowing accounts to play but not cash out - even if I expatriated, I would not reload an account on that site).

Check your PMs, I may have help for your quandary - BUT, take it for what it's worth.

Bodog has been doing it for years and the feds haven't stopped them. I think stars and ftp just got so big and when they started taking over a us bank the feds couldn't sit on it anymore.

I'm rolling the dice and keeping the roll small. We'll see what happens.

My deposit experience... not a good one (so far).

Decided to put a small BR on RPM/Merge. Decided to use standard WU as it seemed the simplest and most reliable option. Unfortunately, the person processing my transfer swapped sender and receiver info. So, when I submitted my MTCN, it erred. I called WU and managed to get the names swapped, but it was not possible to re-submit the deposit. So, I called WU again to change the recipient name. I submitted the MTCN... and nothing. I got on RPM chat (which takes 20-30+ minutes to get someone) and they say it usually takes 20 minutes, but mine was already in process for 6 hours. They just said, 'sorry, we are experiencing some delays.' So, I emailed support@rpm. No response in 12 hours and counting. The only good news is that the transfer has not yet been picked up so I could transfer it and just be out the $12 WU fee. But, that still leaves me without a site...

At any rate, there have been a lot of "it's fast and easy" stories. Hopefully, I am just an exception, but, as always with these transactions, ymmv.

Sounds like Western Union made the initial error so Merge can't be blamed for that. Emails are taking forever, admittedly.

When I did my WU transfer I did it all online but the sender name (my name) didn't match exactly so it declined. I got on live chat (Saturday morning - took about 5 min to get someone) and they manually processed my transaction and the money was in my account within minutes. Good luck getting your money on...

^^^ Agreed that the headaches started with a WU error, but problem resolution hasn't been that great (yet). If things get resolved, I'll be sure to post here and let everyone know.

Agree with Lempke, this sounds like WU made the error.

Also, if you are on RPM, go to the RPM website and access the Live Chat through the RPM Website. They have their own "VIP Live Chat" and it is 10x better than the regular Merge chat. RPMJon is great and will do everything he can to help you.

Definitely should use the RPM Live Chat not Merge if you signed up on RPM. Thats one of the main reasons to sign up for RPM over some of the other skins!

Definitely should visit RPMJon at the RPM Live Chat and I would probably PM RPMSeth also. They will have you fixed as fast as is possible.

TTT - I did RPM live chat... that's who said "We are experiencing some delays" and couldn't tell me anymore. Also PM'ed Seth, who replied promptly, but said that was out of his area and I should e-mail support... which I did but haven't received a reply.

How does one reach RPM Jon?

In order to deposit with WU, is it under the "cash transfer" option (carbon,RPM)?
04-27-2011 , 03:14 PM
i,m not happy with lock at all.i requested cashout on 18th april 2 days later they asked for my documents for verification which i sent promptly.i then get a email today saying my withdrawal has been denied as they need to see my ID.the first email i sent with my ID was even replied by support at lock saying thankyou very much for documents and now they are deniying they ever had them.it all seems very fishy to me.

If you spoke with RPM Live Chat it would have been RPMJon.

Are you sure that you accessed the live chat by going to the RPM website specifically and clicking the Live Chat there? If its RPM chat you normally do not have a wait time as opposed to Merge's basic chat you normally do.

If Seth said to email support its possible that Merge has to take care of it since its with the Cashier and Merge handles those issues. If you don't hear back I would definitely see about speaking with RPMJon or letting RPMSeth know you haven't received a response.

Check out some of the common RB affiliates and compare their deals and find one that you think is best. Make sure that they offer RakeChases and everything possible. Just take your time and compare deals. Also, make sure they are reputable, it will save you a major headache in the future, IMO.
