I have to say that I fully expect Lock to quickly become the biggest skin on the Merge network due to their WU cashout ability. I strongly advise the other skins to follow suit with an alternative payout program or be left behind. You hear all the skins saying that it is a Merge network wide issue and it is out of their hands. However, now you see Lock suggesting innovative new ways to facilitate withdrawals, which I'm sure most players would agree that timely and easy cashouts is their top concern. Lock may lag a bit in other areas of customer service, i.e. email response, but their representative Rizen on 2+2 seems fairly active. I chose RPM due to their Live Chat and customer service, hoping to find a duplicate of PokerStars in that fashion, and I am not disappointed in that. However, 4-6 weeks for a check is honestly a bit ridiculous and will surely make potential players hesitate in signing up. This should 100% be priority #1, especially at a time when there is such a huge market out there, with swarms of players deciding which poker site to play at. It's just good business sense, for everyone involved.

+1000000

I'm in the exact same spot you are, I chose RPM for their supreme customer service and I got what I expected in that area. However, a month and a half for a check that is bouncing a decent percentage of the time is absurd and honestly, as a customer, I will take swift and efficient payouts over great customer service any day of the week.

These figures are off the top of my head, so not 100% perfect accurate, but here it goes:

Took 4 weeks to get first check, it bounced.

Took 10 days to get ahold of someone to let them know the check bounced.

Took 1 additional week to get new check.

This was on carbon poker. And it was for $2,500.

edited to add: Even before black friday I played/cashed out on carbon poker. So it wasn't like I am a "new account" or anything...so I didn't slow down the cash out process by needing to send in documents or being a new account etc.

I know we can only have 1 rakeback account on the merge network, but I think getting quick cashouts > getting rakeback. I might sign up on lock tonight.

FWIW I've been waiting for check approval on Lock for over a month. USA player / maximum check amount if that information is worth anything to you. Rakeback is too good to pass up!!!

Have you tried WU option?

Curious to know what type of checks people are receiving from Merge. As in, what financial institution its written upon.

Can anyone confirm a processor?

No, they just leave it at the door. Comes in a large envelope.

Anyone with half a brain can see that naming banks is a really, really dumb idea.

Referring to processors by name on 2+2 is a big no-no.

How are US players depositing on Carbon? Is WU the only option at the moment? If so, does Lock offer any different alternatives?

There are many Carbon players in the marketplace forum that are looking to trade (myself included) Carbon and other Merge site funds for Green Dot Moneypaks (available at any pharmacy). Make sure you do your due diligence before choosing someone to trade with.

Thanks. I'll do some research before trading.

Can anyone confirm ANY successful check withdrawals from the Merge Network in the United States in the last few weeks?

If so, please tell me what skin you are using, and how much the withdrawal was for. (The withdrawal amount is optional)

Thanks.

Thanks so much for taking the time to do this , this info is invaluable at this time.

My check that was requested April 19th, approved May 12th, received May 20th, bounced May 25th... was received yesterday. I think it takes like 5 business days to make sure a check clears, so I will keep everyone posted.

Tbh, I'm pretty delightfully shocked at how quickly they remedied the situation. That said, it's still taking me way over a month from request to receiving check. Still no word on the check I requested on May 12th.

I have a check in "Pending Approval" for over a week now.

Here is a link to my detailed experience with Carbon Poker including some deposit/withdrawal details.

Best of luck to everyone trying to get money off this network.

I just requested my marketplace membership. I am also very interested in this and will be looking to sell Carbon Money once approved. I read over the instructions, but if anyone has any suggestions or info regarding the whole process it would be appreciated as well. I am mainly looking to trade for some kind of card that I would be able to withdrawal cash out of an ATM if those exist.

Thanks!

Edit*** Just found the link explaining this in the marketplace.
