re: *** Merge Network deposit/withdrawal discussion thread***

Is there any reason to have confidence about depositing enough of a roll to make a part-time income onto Merge? If so, which skin would you guys recommend? I played 20hrs/week at 100NL, would love to have 3k minimum there if I thought it was safe. Or should I just live off my regular job for now?

May I suggest you compromise and play 50nl and build it?

Most 100 nl tables have bbj rake of additional .50 anyway. Play just the non bbj tables if you do. Its an additional 3.5 bb per hundo on the bbj tables.

For volume I recommend Carbon. See last couple pages of the Carbon thread.

No guarantees on anything. I will tell you I have over 3k on there and I'm not worried not rushing to withdraw it.

FeltStars player in the USA (same cashier as Carbon, etc)
4-24 Requested cashout via UMW (im a 2/4-5/10 reg, so substantial cashout)
4-26 Cashout processed and received in my UMW account
4-26 Requested transfer from UMW to bank

Also just requested a check for the maximum withdrawal. Will update how long it takes before that is processed and received.

I agree with the suggestion to start at a level lower then your 'normal' stakes. For the same reasons you give plus take a little less risk, build up your roll(which should be fairly easy at a lower level), and Cashout any amount that is not necessary frequently.

In the end, nobody knows what, if anything, will happen. Its a decision that only you can make. Look at the potential risk vs. the potential reward and make the most +EV decision for you. Thats what we do as Poker Players. If you do make the decision to deposit and are incorrect, then you'll be glad you started at a lower level then your 'normal' stakes with the intention of building your roll.

Question regarding the ID verification: If you deposited via Western Union and you want to use checks for withdrawals, do you still need to scan a copy of your credit card for the ID verification process? I'm a little hesitant to have all that information out there if I don't need it to be.

Probably not. Use live chat to be sure.

I used a player transfer to get money on RPM. I asked if I would have to scan a copy of a Credit Card and they told me no. I would still confirm with support, but I'm fairly sure they will tell you the same they did me.
