And are you really comparing your personal business checks to trying to process hundreds (if not thousands) of checks for millions of dollars in a legally grey industry?
Come on guy.
1. Agreed about the small withdrawals. So they can institute a fee for withdrawals under a certain threshold and let the bigger fish cash out without a stupid and unjustified fee.
2. Maybe my analogy is not apt, but there is no good reason for taking a month to print and mail a check, especially when the process is most likely 95-100% computerized. If I was being paid 5% of all action, I'd hire enough people to make the trains run on time.

Do you really think it's a easy as printing up a check and mailing it? Did you just [jsut] wake up from a 4 year coma?
FYP. No, you're right. A month for every withdrawal seems appropriate. Hell, if it's over $1,000 let's make it two months. No level, my friend. Like I said above, my analogy may not be apt, but are you defending the outrageous delays in getting people paid? Should I feel safe putting my money on a site that is able to process deposits in 15 minutes but takes a month or more to process withdrawals? Does it take a month to verify that the computerized accounting is correct? If my position makes me a coma victim, I'll take my money and go back to sleep.
I hate the thought of government control of internet poker, which will likely lead to a U.S. only pool of players or, more likely, much smaller pools of players on a state-by-state basis. But at least we will be able to feel safe that our funds are segregated and that we're going to get them back. I want to make bets on my poker hands, not on whether I'll get repaid.
