I remember with PStars that all WU transfers with 3 names, that the middle and last went in the last name box

It seems a lot of people are trying to withdraw via WU and not seeing results. Why not try a check? Please don't say because of a $15 fee.

Paper check would be the best option IMO. I don't understand why anyone would panic withdraw right now....especially if the government did seize the UMW bankwired funds. Why not wait for the smoke to clear a little bit and scope out the situation?

I posted that I initiated a UMW withdrawal on 5/9 and would update as appropriate. I asked TheTruthSpeaks a polite question. Not only did he ignore me, he posts daily that the end of the world is coming but says absolutely nothing in terms of analysis nor does he answer my questions. He then accuses me of posting in a withdrawal thread without having a withdrawal issue--obviously not even bothering to read my posts. On top of it he calls me a shill.

His arrogance is obvious in his current posts and the bottom line is that he never bothered to answer my questions and posted worthless comments daily when he actually could have added more substantive knowledge to the thread. How does "I'm very worried" help anyone without elaboration?

You posted a question about whether they said "3 to 5 days" or "3 to 5 business days". Anyone that's cashed out in the last decade knows that every site ever always says business days, and when your dealing with anything bank related it's always business days so your post was stupid and warranted no response. I see no other question you posted so please enlighten me on your "repeated questions" that I didn't answer.

I posted the reason something was wrong was because bank wires never take longer than 48 hours once they are sent, which is based upon my years of experience and hundreds of wires. So maybe with your 1 years worth of experience dealing with carbon you should have kept your mouth shut instead of making comments like "UMW has never missed a payout why would you assume you're the first". Yep, looks like I was the first.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings with my "arrogance" but sometimes the truth stings.

Interesting that BigOlTatties was polite enough to answer my "shill" questions, but you just opted to be a jackass. Then I looked at your post history.

Your numerous recent posts can be summarized as follows:

1. Carbon sucks.
2. No one but me knows what they are talking about.
3. GTFO of this thread.
4. Everyone who disagrees with me is a shill.
5. I'm very worried.

At least you found a nut with #5. Congratulations. Maybe you'd be taken more seriously if you had some credibility. I probably would have heeded your chicken little calls if you ever posted something other than hyperbole and name calling.

Get it?

How many checks can you take out per week or month? Can you just request multiple checks per week?

Is Carbon down atm?
05-19-2011 , 05:22 PM
Nope I'm on.

I requested a check on the 6th of may and got it around the 17th of may

OK, emailed Jon at RPM Support today to ask about my cashout (US Player, living in Kansas)

Requested 5/1, "pending approval" ever since.

Here's the response:

Checks are currently taking between 2 and 4 weeks to process. Unfortunately there isn't much we can do to expedite the process when there is a backlog of withdrawals. I apologize for the inconvenience.

?

i've been doing a lot of reading in the carbon threads and, from what i gather, people are getting their money out. it's just taking awhile. which is what was happening on stars and fulltilt. there were major delays all across the board for US players, so why is everyone giving merge such a hard time? this is just the way its going to be for awhile if youre an american. if you dont like the delays then dont deposit until we get online poker regulated.

There's no withdrawal through WU. (Hopefully soon)

Yeah, right now I'm playing on another US facing site and if I was supporting just myself, I wouldn't mind waiting 4-6 weeks for a check. If they could cut the check waiting time down to 1-3 weeks and have that be consistent, they would have all of my business and I suspect alot more player's business they weren't able to already take from PS/FTP/AP/UB's market share. A WU cashout option would of course be even better. It's sad because they're only going to have so long to cash in on their new positioning in the market. I believe the delays are a byproduct of not being organized or not being organized enough and if they were to get their house in order and push out cashouts in half the time, which I highly suspect is possible even if it's just checks, they stand to gain alot by doing so.

I was kicking myself for not withdrawing via UMW a few weeks ago, now it appears I may be the smartest man on 2+2.

Thus far, they are in the ether; neither in my bank account nor in my umw wallet.
UPDATE: Funds location still unknown, but have the balance (plus $30) back in my account under "uncleared." Corresponding email--
Dear XXXXXXX,

As your recent QuickTender withdrawal MTCN XXXXXX of $XXXXXXX was not received into your nominated bank account we will be putting it shortly under the “Uncleared Balance” to your QuickTender Account.

We are communicating with our bank to find out where your funds are currently located and why they have not been processed. The funds were transmitted by us in good faith through a major European bank, and have left our account. We understand that the money has been frozen in the US banking system, and you will appreciate that this is entirely beyond our control.

We fully acknowledge you are the rightful owner of these funds. We will fully support you recover these funds and provide further details as soon as we can assist.

Any remaining funds in your QuickTender account can still be used to purchase at QuickTender accepting sites. In addition we are working hard to reinstate our withdrawal facility and so when this is in place you will be able to make a new withdrawal.

Please be assured these remaining funds in your QuickTender account are safe and secure and we appreciate your continued support. We apologise for the inconvenience that this delay has caused you.

Just popping in here to say I was made aware of this today and we're looking into this is a matter of priority. Even though withdrawals are delayed, this is a bit longer than we have been quoted for check approvals.

If any other RPM users are having prohibitive delays in a withdrawal being approved, please send me a PM with your username so I can look into it for you further.
