I've successfully made 2 cashouts since black friday on carbon. It's not too difficult. Just talk to the reps via live chat if you have a problem and they will hook you up. If they are being lame, just shoot CarbonChris a PM.

what method of cash out did you use, bs_jayhawk? and how long did it take to process the transaction/reach your account?

i'm trying to figure out the best withdrawal method; the live support is down today. after my electronic transfer was denied i requested a check and that transaction is now "pending." it sounds like these can stay "pending" for a while, i wonder if i need to email support and bug the people on the live chat a lot to make anything happen?

also like some others have noted, the UseMyWallet option has now disappeared from my cashier page entirely.

P.S. In case you have a problem: At a minimum, deposit on a site that responds to emails and/or PM's (i.e. not Carbon), Carbon gets ALOT of complaints (they are so bad for the industry). There are so many people that are unhappy with Carbon. Select a site that cares, that is attentive to your concerns (RPM, Hero, Everleaf (Minted), etc.). Read the posts, get a general consensus as to what the players are saying, then make an educated decision.

(If you did that, there is no way in the world you would select Carbon Poker, they are so bad.)

Ok, so i guess I jumped the gun. My first cashout went through with no problems. But now I'm having trouble getting my money from UMW to my bank account with this second withdrawal. And it looks like UMW has also disappeared from my cashier options as well. In UMW, the withdrawal was was returned and marked "rejected by operator". Whatever that means!

Yes, this is happening it seems to all UMW requests fro bank transfers after 5/6. Some people have loads of money "somewhere out there" as we had transfers that were sent and are no longer in UMW but also not in our bank accounts after 10 days. Fel lucky that this money was returned to your UMW account. Since you can't redeposit it on Merge, I shipped it to Bodog which still accepts UMW as a deposit. From what I read Cake adn the Everleaf network also accept them. GL with whatever you choose to do.

I have read post that said Carbon was not responding to emails.

I sent them an easy question as a test. In five minutes, they emailed back that I could expect a responds. I recieved the answer the next day.

I sent them a question with regards to account verification and received a response the same day.

Opened a Carbon account last night, couldn't get any of the deposit options to work (CC or WU). WU option wouldn't go beyond the first page to even give me directions on how to send the funds. Sent email to customer service, haven't heard anything back. Should I bother contacting my rakeback provider to see if they can help at all?

Opened carbon account and wired funds via WU with no problems. Whole process took 1hr 15 minutes. Used online WU.

Used carbon 24 live support chat and they were able to help me. No issues. Site is good but no Stars. SNGs are slow to fill but cash games r good.

Just a quick note of my experience since I've been following this thread.

I deposited $150 on 4/26/11 using Western Union. No problem. Activated the next day. Binked a little profit in a week and submitted a check request for $240 on 5/5/11. After a few days "waiting for approval", they responded needing my Driver's license and other information. That was processed quickly. I am happy to say I received a check by fedex on 5/16. This has given me confidence (for now) that Carbon is trying hard to process these requests. Props to them. I will continue to play there, keeping a small bankroll online. i've got another check request "waiting for approval" now, so I will update when I receive that check. I think the "softness" of Carbon definitely makes it worthwhile to play there!

Just got a withdrawal by check I requested about 2 weeks ago. I changed addresses and stupidly sent it to the old address so it may have been less.

This is in the US.

They deliver through Fed-Ex carrier, or at least that was the case a couple months ago. Very quick.
