As someone already told you there is still a chance your check will bounce.

Re: *** Merge Network deposit/withdrawal discussion thread***

To update my situation, after seeing a balance of 0 on my gift card on my first try, and not getting anywhere in terms of contacting the card company or Carbon, the next day I tried another bank and was able to withdraw this time.

Because the balance on my card exceeded the bank’s daily limit, I used two banks. I ended up losing about $10 to fees (it should be $6 for two withdrawals, but some extra phantom fees seem to have been slapped on). Just happy to get my $ though. Fulltilt and Pokerstar were far easier.

By the way, that card activation number is still fried. So people getting the card and needing to activate are screwed.

I hate that this stuff happens and there's no communication. People realize that processors are f'ed up right now but please keep us in the loop.

For any US based site, if you have good CS support and reasonable payout options you will win the support of this community.

Ya I'm having the same problem, I've tried the card in multiple locations and haven't had any success.

For godsakes whatever you do, don't call the number on the back of the card! I was on hold for over an hour with est. wait time of 1-7 minutes

Use the support # they give you, xxxxxxx, of course that is down too but you can hear the bungled server down message at least

Re: *** Merge Network deposit/withdrawal discussion thread***

saw i had $11 left on carbon, played two MTTs and placed 2nd and 1st for a total of $1,108. Not bad for two days work. Just withdrew the funds now (i live in US), should I be expecting ~6 weeks for the check or what? With the possibility of it bouncing? I have had 2 successful withdrawls prior to black friday that went very well, no bouncing, only a few weeks, etc. SO I remain optimistic....

Re: *** Merge Network deposit/withdrawal discussion thread***

Anyone have an update on this Gift Card activation madness? Been waiting 5 days to activate and the phone number is still down, as I'm sure everyone knows..Just seeing if someone else was able to get any type of real update from Carbon. I've had the pleasure of receiving about 15 different stock emails, all stating that they are "aware of the situation"...Good to know they're finally aware of how miserable they're site is.

I would say it's a very fair assumption that the gift cards have been shut down

Tough to say about the checks, some ppl have recently been receiving checks in a timely fashion. Are they "caught up" and now processing faster? We don't know.

I would be very surprised if gift cards were used in the future (assuming they have been shut down). I never thought they were viable in the first place as similar methods have been used on other sites in the past and were never sustainable. They were always shut down sooner or later (usually sooner rather than later).

awesome, well I withdrew tonight and will hope I am in the wave of timely caught up checks. And I also hope it clears and doesn't bounce. haha ONE TIME!

I will keep everyone posted on the status...

PS are there threads on here about how exciting the thought of legal/regulated iPoker in the US is? And how fast/easy withdraws will be?? Poof right into the ol bank account Can't wait...

Re: *** Merge Network deposit/withdrawal discussion thread***

what does 'manual approval required' mean now? This used to happen and carbon_atil on these forums would help that go quick, but I assume he is gone now?? SO how long does this take people usually?
