Requested another $530 dollar cashout from Carbon to UMW yesterday at about 1:30 PM ET, its already in my UMW account. First one took 2-3 days (see recent post about it), this one 24 hours. Couldn't be happier with Carbon. They must be processing the newest ones first then working their way through older ones, or I'm just lucky. I dunno. Now hopefully everything goes smoothly with UMW...

FeltStars Poker - USA resident (same cashier as Carbon, etc)
4-24 Requested cashout via UMW (im a 2/4-5/10 reg, so substantial cashout)
4-26 Cashout processed and received in my UMW account
4-26 Requested transfer from UMW to bank
5-2 Wire Transfer received and available for withdrawal in my bank

So entire process took about 9 days, and that's including initiating the request on Easter Sunday, so it could even be quicker!

cliffs: Post Black Friday withdrawal request to US resident completed fully in less than 9 days via UMW

It looks like people are getting money now. Is cashing out becoming more reliable now?

So if I understand correctly you cant get a UMW invite unless you deposit > $500 and make a successful withdraw? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I got a UMW invite from live support. My card was declined. Im thinking it may have something to do with UMW deposits being charged in euros. Im a US player. Should I go to my bank and tell them I will be making international purchases?

I think cashing out has always been reliable in that I have yet to hear of someone not getting paid. Right now it seems like all the post Black Friday cashouts are starting to hit.

4/30 - cashed out to UMW and sent in verification documents as requested

I have to move to lock poker bc I can't get rakeback on carbon

still no word yet, will let 2p2 kno how it goes down

Ok, I set up my quicktender account and it is declining my credit card and debit card deposits, even though they worked directly to carbon. I cannot use bank transfers until I make a deposit but I can't deposit!! Any work arounds on this guys? wtf

My experience on Carbon to date. I'm in the U.S.
On Friday 4/29, I went to the deposit and using WU got the information needed to make a deposit. Took that info to local WU in a supermarket. The WU agent filled out the forms gave me the MTCN number, etc. and I was back at my computer in an hour or less. Put the information in and it was denied.

Contacted chat support (waited quite awhile, but that's life with Carbon right now) and they looked at it and noticed that my name was entered incorrectly on the WU paperwork. I understood the error and went to sleep.

Sat. morning, contacted Carbon again. Talked to agent who confirmed the information to use at WU. Said all I had to do was change my name and it would be fine. Went to WU. Changed my name. Back to Carbon and tried again. Denied again. New day needs a new name to receive so I cancelled the WU transfer, got the money back and created a new one using the information a Carbon agent gave me. Didn't go through again as Carbon had cancelled the attempt and created a completely new one.

So, on to Sunday. Back to WU. Cancel the transfer. This time I just get the cash back from WU (they did refund the entire amount, including their fees).

Today, after reading through this thread for awhile, I took another shot. Got the information from the Carbon site (its still open waiting for a MTCN number) and went to WU. Here is where it gets weird.

The WU agent takes my form, fills out his part then walks to the back of the office. Says something to a co-worker about the police. Comes back and tells me that WU is down and not accepting any transactions at the moment. Says it will take about 20 minutes to correct.

Hands me the form and says I can try later or wait. I say I'll come back, but once out of his vision I stop and hear him say "the transfer was for gambling purposes." I look back and he's on the phone with someone.

Off I go, not waiting around for whatever might be in store. Surely I'm being paranoid or WU is sick of me trying to transfer money to the Phillipines then cancelling the transaction, but I got very uncomfortable while I was there.

This is not a level. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid. Not sure if I should try to go back (I don't think so) but all other WU sites will get the same info.

Any thoughts are appreciated. Sorry the comment is so long.

if i were you meatpossums... i would have left my phone number with them and told them I will be waiting in my car. Please call me when the police arrive

People are ******ed.

I walked into my local grocery store initially with my Full Tilt Jacket and a piece of paper that showed the name of the recipient of the money so that i could make a Western Union transfer to RPM poker for $500.

The name was not really a name, and she looked at it strangely, then she noticed my jacket and the RPM poker on the top of the page i gave her and she said "OH no! We don't do Illegal Gambling here, OHHH NOO" + fingerwag. I started to argue with her and asked her for WU policy sheet and then i looked at the stupid redneck bitch and realized I would be better off going elsewhere.

Ironically, while this convo is going on, there's a guy to my left talking to her about scratch off tickets, he's pissed off from work, sighing and complaining how he's gonna blow all his money on tickets if this keeps going. She just smiles at him, like "hey what are you going to do".

I said I guess I have to go elsewhere, drove down the block to a different grocery store, left my fulltilt jacket in my car , tore the RPM logo off the top and no questions asked.

Lesson in all of this is that it is ok to buy lottery tickets where you have a slim to no chance of winning and there is no skill involved. Also you should play games where the rake is 50%. Also when there is rake, you should only play games where the rake goes to corrupt politicians and religiously affiliated rabbis. (See state of NJ).

Depositing to play poker on the other hand is a major no no and you have no business playing a game which requires skill, and develops patience.

Don't you get it?
