I think the batch of checks that went out on 10/30 were for Carbon players. PDC/Aced and other skins were probably not part of the batch.

i think we are talking about instant withdraws without pending confirmation.like pokerstars or fulltilt.
but they really have to do this if they want to survive.

Why are we still complaining about check processing times. Haven't we all learned that in the current environment it is going to take anywhere from 4-10 weeks depending on how well things are running for their check processors.

Everyone gripes but then again everyone always ends up with their money. This is the US environment for better or for worse. Just deal wit it. And if you are fed up then start participating in the PPA daily action plan and start getting involved in the effort to regulate and legalize in the USA.

I have no idea.

For the vast majority of players this is the case. There are a few vocal elements on 2+2 who did not... and that is unfortunate. It's easy to understand their frustration, but as the poster below so succinctly puts it...

Money is still moving just fine. For guys complaining of 10 day waits on Skrill... As I've said numerous times in this and other threads, I highly suggest looking into Insta-debit, Click2Pay, WebMoney, Neteller, etc. Everyone and their brother's, girlfriend's, neices's baby cousin trying to force the whole of Merge's liquidity out the back end through one funnel (Moneybookers) is responsible for some of the ROW delays... I'd wager heavily.

Granted with the absence of P2P at the moment, this problem should rectify itself somewhat as time goes on.

a) Skrill is my only option for w/d. In order to open up other avenues, I must deposit thru those methods, and well LMFAO at that. Never gonna happen. Like all the sudden they will instantly approve and ship thru these methods? LOL again.

b) Its not my fault or any other players fault for the OUTLANDISH wait times. I mean seriously, that is the stupidest thing I've ever read, and further enforces my notion that you are just a giant shill for these clowns.

We're not talking about waiting for a big batch of checks to send out, we are talking about entering an amount and clicking send (at most). This is unacceptable.

While I agree that they should be processed more smoothly and quickly, it is not nearly as simple as you seem to think.

AlligatorBloodFTW had a 9-26 approved and sent the same day. See post 4886. I figured so did many others.

haha sorry, it was directed at anyone who can answer the question not just specifically you

and my bad, i missed that. i thought we were only up to a batch clearing up to 9/8 and then you popped in with your post

so i guess that's actually good news then since the batches are a month or more ahead of what originally thought

sweet

i think it's pretty well established that he is a "shill" or whatever but personally i don't care because he's been helpful regardless.

what's in a name?

also, why are you even playing on Merge if u want immediate withdrawals? go to Stars or Full Tilt ldo

I see you've worked in payment processing for poker site before. Can you tell us all a lil more about what goes into processing these payouts? Or moreso, why they are near instant on legal poker sites, but take 2 weeks on Merge?

Thanks.

I was poached then they took the sweet deal away from me 2 days after joining.

I played Merge cuz I had no RB elsewhere, and the games were soft.

I falsely assumed that Merge, being a large network, would have their ducks in a row, and thus operate like any reputable site in regards to cashouts etc.

silly me.

I'm mostly trying to understand why my Skrill w/d attempts were denied in 4 days before I had them actually available, but now it's 2 weeks of waiting when I AM eligible.

This is 100% industry standard nowadays. It's not as if they are asking you to deposit $5,000 USD. A simple min deposit of $10 will link your ewallet account to your player account and open up withdrawals.

When I moved to Canada I had to do this with all of the ewallets I use. I deposited $10, then instantly went to the withdrawal page and requested max withdrawls. This is how the system works at Merge (both cashiers) and at virtually every other online card room in operation today.

Exactly. Do you think the whole of Merge's player funds are sitting in a Skrill merchant account for you? Or more likely might they be spread out across the dozen payment processors they use? Try using any of the other half dozen ewallets offered... instadebit, neteller, click2pay, webmoney, etc etc. You will likely see faster results than everyone else trying to cram all the money through Skrill.

No, see you don't get it. I am not going to deposit another dime on there, even 10 bucks, cuz that will be 10 more dollars I have to wait an excessive amount of time for.

Answer this: why was I denied in a few days before, but can't be approved within 2 weeks?

Ya'd figure that if they were swamped with Skrill requests, they might go ahead and have that on the ready. Especially considering that those requesting skrill had to fund via skrill, meaning there should be funds on hand in Merge Skrill acct.

With all due respect, it's not the long wait times alone that are a cause for my concern, it's the long wait times (8+ weeks for a 2500 max cashout) COMBINED with the fact that you can't transfer money off via P2P.

I understand that the sites can't just cut a check to US players like it's no big deal, and I sympathize, and yes I'm a member of the PPA. What I can't understand is why they would take away the only viable option of withdrawing more than a thousand or so a month without giving us some improvement in standard withdrawal methods.

With the wait times like they are now, MERGE is the same as CAKE with respect to long cashout waits. The difference between the two is that on CAKE you can always transfer money off.

im mostly concerned because ive withdrawn multiple times and the wait actually wasnt too bad. but now its been over 2 months and still pending
11-14-2012 , 07:28 PM
Check Requested 9/18 (Black Chip Poker)
still processing...

After my 3rd email to them they said that they put a priority on my check and that it will be processed in the next batch. Anyone know when the next batch will be processed?
11-14-2012 , 07:38 PM
If you are an American stuck on a site using the 'old' merge cashier and think you will be getting a check sometime soon, sorry.

A new batch hasn't been processed. When it does happen, I'm positive that both of you will be accommodated. As I posted a half dozen posts up or so, no one but the Merge Cashier knows when the next batch will be processed.

And the above quote is from someone who has worked with payment processors... it's much more complex than most people give credit to take funds from US players in the foreign countries and magically ship them back through Skrill in the UK the following day.
