Received bitcoin withdrawal in 24 hours. Made a purchase and it accepted the transaction only to cancel later. Looking at the withdrawal info, it shows as bitcoin in my balance but it's not confirmed. Anyone have any experience with this ? I also had funds to cover the transaction before the withdrawal but it still won't work.

The sender has to confirm the transaction after it is sent and it can take up to 48 hours. It depends on when the sender processes their confirmations. My advice is to be patient.

I withdrew $100 from Carbon to my Bitpay wallet address and the transaction was unconfirmed for around 24 hours. Now, the transaction has completely disappeared from Bitpay and I have not received the funds.

The money did not go back to my Carbon account. The withdrawal shows as "Sent" under my Carbon withdrawal history.

I don't know what to do and I really need some help.

Is it a bit of a ripoff they charge us 5% for bitcoin withdrawal where alot of books will do it for FREE?

Also it takes nothing but a couple clicks for them to send off this transaction plus at most a $5 fee on their end.

5% adds up pretty quickly after withdrawal plus exchange fees in dollars as well. No need to come back with the smart remark it can be alot for example i'm about to withdraw 3K shortly and that will be $150 in 5% bitcoin fee alone.

I know theirs people withdrawing way more than me it adds up no matter how much we are it's pretty easy for them to send this to us and it should be 3% max imo.

Just got my Bitcoin cashout that I requested on 9/4.

Slowest one I've had in months but still just inside the 96 hour window that they advertise so I can't complain

So I tried to deposit on carbon with my bitpay card like ive done plenty of times before. This time it said denied so I checked my bank statement and all my money was withdrawn from an atm from queens NY at the exact time I was denied from carbon. I have my card in my hand and nobody knows my pin #. Called bitpay and they said I have to file a police report in NY. I'm in Chicago so that's just great. Anyone have any info about this?

If I wasn't using a hardware wallet and only used bitcoin to transfer to/from poker sites, I'd choose a mobile wallet.

Thx for your help in in this thread in helping some of us get up to date. Ive decided to go with the visa bitpay card and a hardware wallet. Any advice before I pull the trigger on the card app fee and spring for a hardware wallet?

Yes and bank wires for those that qualify. Checks may arrive anywhere from 2-6 weeks. A whole spectrum of folks have opted to learn to use bitcoin.
