Not to happy about waiting that many days and paying a 5% fee.... I now understand why Merge/Carbon has no action. I will be withdrawing the rest of my funds and going elsewhere. Everyone else seems to be able to do these withdraws in a timely fashion. Which leads me to believe they're (merge or carbon) screwing with player funds. Not a good thing. It should not be that hard to payout in bitcoin. Sounds like a classic case of robbing peter to pay Paul. I wouldn't trust placing much money on the merge network...
just so lol. all of the information that you would need to make a decision about depositing on the site, and all of the reasons you listed for leaving, are all clearly outlined itt if you just read through it. its beyond hilarious to me how you new guys show up bc you heard merge does btc now and complain about two week wdraws when wdraws used to take 6 months.

before you leave us forever, care to offer a casual assessment that merge is bankrupt, too?

Just a quick summary for anyone still confused on this BTC process... this is how I did it.

1) Use Circle to deposit on Carbon.

2) Cash out bitcoins from Carbon to Blockchain intermediary wallet. This took 2 weeks for Carbon to approve and send the coins.

3) From Blockchain, I sent the coins to Circle. This was instant.

4) From Circle I sent the coins to Wells Fargo. This took less than 1 day.

Overall, it took me 15 days to get Carbon money to real money.

I have the opinion that this kind of wait time for withdrawal is perfectly fine. I don't know specifically why their bitcoin process takes 2 weeks to approve, but regardless, I have no problems waiting 2 weeks for the money.

If you simply cannot afford to wait 2 weeks for your online poker funds, then you should probably stay away from Carbon.

Hopefully, you used Blockchain between Circle and Carbon for your deposit also. As has been pointed out throughout many posts about BTC, in various threads, if Circle determines you are transferring money to/from gambling sites, your account is subject to closure.

Woops. I did not do that. ****.

Circle verified my identity through drivers license and a selfie the other month. Other than that, I have had no problems.

I currently have $5k incoming to Blockchain.

Would you recommend that I use a primary wallet other than Circle to get this 5k to my bank account as a precaution from this fckup?

for withdraws - Poker site > blockchain > circle > your bank

for deposits it is the complete opposite

Bro, you can't expect people to know all this beforehand and it's totally reasonable for someone to come and share their less than optimal experience as a warning to others. In fact, him coming on here and detailing his experience is necessary to ensure the situation is "clearly outlined" for other players who might be considering playing here.

Just because withdrawals used to take longer in the past does not mean it is acceptable for btc withdrawals to take 3 weeks. I just waited 3 weeks myself and while I am willing to put up with it given the situation, that doesn't mean I expect everyone should be okay with it. Your complaint should not be with the random person who is getting ****ed around - this is all on the site for not paying players promptly, and there is NO acceptable argument as to why it takes three weeks to send BTC.

Only took 10 days, might actually play on their site a little more now.

Still no check and no update from Sportsbook, well over 2 months now. Anyone received a check lately? Looks like bitcoin cashouts are being processed pretty efficiently so I'll remain patient (yes I will consider bitcoin for future withdrawals).

I could be wrong. But, I believe the Jazette cashier is in charge of determing the processors for cash outs.

Of course it's unacceptable. No one's happy with current cashout times. You're not getting the point. The issue with the complaining is when it crosses over into saying the site is untrustworthy and/or bankrupt. That hurts the games and there's no evidentiary basis to it. It's pointless, self-serving, and irresponsible behavior on the part of a handful of people. The player pool on Merge is already small but the games are solid and it would be a shame if the simple dissemination of hearsay through the grapevine caused the games to die out completely.

The bottom line is that people just love to complain and some don't understand when that crosses over the line into being destructive/malicious.

Let me say I am very happy with Carbon (I know, my previous posts may not have reflected that)....

BTC Cashout requested : 08/24

In my Wallet: 08/31

For those of you awaiting checks, it is time to switch to Bitcoin.

GREAT WORK CARBON MANAGEMENT!

My deposit took overnight and then some. Less than 24 hours though. (It shows up on the site, but my local wallet hasn't confirmed it yet. As long as the site knows it's there, that's all I care about.)

I don't have an option to withdraw via BTC though. What's up with that? Maybe because it was a tiny deposit? Or so recent? How do I get the option to withdraw via BTC?
