I complained again via email on 9/27 and support encouraged me to use BTC. On 9/27 I set up the appropriate BTC accounts using the methods described in this chain and changed my withdrawal method from Check to BTC.

Still waiting for the funds to be sent.

There are serious issues with checks so do yourself a favor and use BTC. I will post again after my funds have been received. It was easy to set up the BTC accounts.

just to add, I have never deposited using BTC. And I checked my account and THEY just switched my payout method from Check to BTC. This morning it still was showing as a check withdrawal.

just moved to processed. Anyone know how long it typically takes to show up in the BTC acct after Carbon moves the payment to "processed'?

I cant say much more than this. From waiting two and a half months for a check, to this. Merge went from almost the longest send payments in check form, to fastest with payments with bitcoin. Great job merge.

Merge kind of not Mergin all a sudden

when i request a withdraw, say 1k, 1k is taken from my account. Now, has the fee been assessed? So, i am to expect $950? or will the fee be deducted at a further date resulting in $1,000 taken now and $50 later?

i think the bitcoin fluctuations have been confusing me and im not sure whether im being shorted due to paying merge 5% fee or because btc price falls and i lose $.

Merge is taking 5% you will get $950 after requesting $1,000.

ya, thats horsehit, merge mergin there. $950 withdrawal should impose a $47.5 fee, not $50

Req 9/29
Rec 9/30 to blockchain

Great job Merge. The 5% fee for btc is pretty steep tho.

That is true. But a $1000 withdrawal is a $50 fee. If you want to actually see $1000 after you cash out, then add the fee upfront to your withdrawal. So 1000+50+2.50=1052.50. So cash out roughly $1055 to see your $1000.

I'm gonna have to talk to my accountant to figure out a way to write off all these damn fees. Don't get me wrong, using BTC to move funds around is like the old net teller days but this **** is starting to add up. Fees are typically seen as a personal expense but in reality they're a cost of doing business so there's gotta be some kinda legal loophole.

Wow you must be cashing out big bucks to get that worried about the fees. It sucks but my god 3-7 day withdrawals are infinitely better than the old 3-4 month check waits (and those had a fee too)

Not really but the $100+ in fees each month would be nice to have in my pocket instead of someone else ldo

Im a nit IRL

Happy they made things right by sending. 5 days of not knowing if I was gonna get the shaft. that's shady AF..
esp the fact that you got an additional withdrawal with no explanation as to what happened with the original

btw how do you still have rakeback? they took it away from me years ago

How did you all get them to allow BTC withdrawals? I built up a free bonus from them and have built up a decent amount to withdraw and check is only option. I checked with customer support and they told me i had to deposit with BTC first, but didn't give me any concrete definition as to when and if I would actually get the option.

Any ideas here?

Yeah you have to deposit using BTC first. Once you deposit it takes about 24 hours to have the option to WD via BTC.

Only once? They made it sound like it would be with consistent use. So just deposit with BTC (any amount?) and wait 24 hours?
