[Merge Network] Carbon/ Sportsbook/ PlayersOnly - Deposit/ Withdrawal Thread

Up until a few moments ago, most of the Merge Gaming Network was on the Merge Cashier. A large percentage of the network including skins such as Carbon Poker, Aced, Sportsbook and Players Only are now on the same cashier. This cashier is independent of the Merge Cashier, and will have different options for both deposits and withdrawals. The withdrawal times will also be different and independent of the Merge Cashier.

As such, I've created this new thread so that players may discuss this wholly different cashier servicing the other half+ of the Merge Gaming Network.

This thread should ONLY pertain to the skins listed in the title. PokerHost does NOT use this, the Jazette Cashier and thus any reported data from PokerHost will NOT jive with other data posted here. Here is a link to the PokerHost Thread.

i don't understand the reason the ENTIRE network is shut down when only a few of the sites are switching cashiers...makes sense that the ones changing could be, but the rest doesnt make sense to me

could also be because GeoBet (new merge skin not available to us players) officially went live today at 9am

I forgot to add that Superbook is also lumped in with the other sites in the title.

The sites listed make up the majority of the network... And I'd rather them shut down all the games and do it right the first time, wouldn't you?

I hope we see some improved withdrawal times. Not holding my breath though.

ok, so I've been with PO for 4-5+ years! As of this moment, I see no addtional payout options that I did for the past year! So what's the deal? Where are these amazing new withdrawal options? So far the only thing showing is wire and check!...

Anyone who's on one of the skins mentioned in OP, have additional options?

agreed they need to do it right, albeit i'm not on a skin thats changing (at least i don't think so), but one that has its own cashier..even though they change high fees for MG or WU i have the money within one or 2 days usually

I really hope PH does survive this transition and recent ass raping by Merge! ;) I am only speculating, but I think in part why they charge such high fees for mg/wu is b/c Merge is raping them on the fees when PH's players cashout...

You'd be incorrect.

They have nothing to do with each other.

so Kahn, lets hypothetically say i wanted to start a poker site, and use the merge software and player base etc, essentially what pokerhost does, but have my own seperate cashier...so at the end of the month or whatever timeframe it is, merge would reimburse me for all the cashouts i made? btw i like reading your posts and you are always knowledgable and polite, keep up the good work, and thanks for the insight!

Instead of trolling, please do elaborate!

Though I am not sure why I even ask, as you have proven over and over that despite all of your efforts at blatant self-promotion, and a futile attempt to project yourself as someone in the know, you really have little clue about the inner workings of things at Merge! E.g. not so long ago, I had to school you on a) that Jazzette (PO, SB family, etc) had a major ownership stake in the Merge network, you tried to object, only to show your true ignorance on the subject. b) when I was pimping or sticking up for PO, you b/c of your personal AFFILIATE business tried hard to discredit PO, with a desperate attempt to draw gullible souls to your affiliate or Carbon.

I am sorry, but since your beloved Carbon, and the Merge skin for which you are an affiliate, has now joined PO's/SB's cashier, you have almost absolutely no credibility in my eyes in terms of actually having any idea of what's going on on the inside. Despite all of your str8 up spamming self-promotion! Really don't understand how you are able to get away what you get away with on here, and not having to pay 2p2 advertisement fees! Or is Carbon covering those fees?... ;)

Any intelligent reader could understand that he was stating you were incorrect because Merge has ZERO to do with the PH cashier therefore they do not charge them fee's.

any intelligent individual may imagine a scenario where Merge provides incentives for those skins that on the net provide a positive flow of funds into the Merge eco system vs. disincentives towards those skins that are a net drain on the network!... Unless you know something that most of us don't please keep your superfluous and ignorant comments to yourself! I know this requires beyond level I thikning ability, but just for a second imagine an extremely simplified scenario where I am a high-stakes player on PH, who use their own cashier, win a substantial amount of $$$ from someone on a skin on the general Merge cashier. And for the sake of this hypothetical scenario, say my win establishes PH, as a net withdrawal skin for that particular accounting period. Is it that hard to imagine that Merge will penalize PH for having to move a substantial amount of $$$ from their banks over to PH's, and out of the network's eco system, assuming I am withdrawing my win$?...

Besides, it should be blatantly obvious to even most fools that companies that run poker network only profit from those skins that have a higher inflow vs outflow of funds into the networks eco system! Hence, why it only makes sense to have mechanisms in place to provide incentives and disincentives for precisely that to occur!

This thread is intended for discussing the new cashier handling the majority of the network's players very shortly.

In answer to these Merge related questions and speculations, I suggest attempting to contact them directly at http://www.mergegaming.com/

Trolls will be set to ignore, Cheers :)

are you trying to be cute? A person asked you politely a question, even complements you towards the end of his post, and yet you have the audacity to imply that he is a troll?! Besides, trolling or not, you are not ignoring ****, simply b/c your "subtle" spamming pretty much requires you to keep tabs on your "image"!

Obv we all understand that you are creating yet another opportunity for shameless self-promotion without actually paying for advertisement on 2p2; but seriously, compare your above post to your OP, and ask yourself this question: "why the **** did I start this thread in the 1st place?", or better yet ask your self "why the **** did I just not include in the OP the support emails of respective skins referenced in the OP?" In other words, as usual, you add absolutely NOTHING to the general knowledge base, and at the same time try so hard to put your name on something that has absolutely nothing to do with you (except for the fact that you are an affiliate for one of the rooms in the OP)! And your OP would serve more legitimate purpose, if you simply directly referred those with questions about the new cashier and the new withdrawal/deposit methods to their individual skins, in the same spirit where in the above post you direct an inquiring 2p2er directly to merge!

Bro, stop posting stupid ****!

Re: Merge Network: Carbon/PDC/Aced/Sportsbook/Players Only - Deposit/Withdrawal Thread

You got to admit though, it takes a lot of nerve for an affiliate to openly start new threads like this to actively pursue poaching players from other merge skins who don't offer the upgraded cashier.

After seeing what he did with the Bluffroom and Feltstar fiasco's nothing surprises me about this kid anymore.

y would they make this switch? who can wait 6-8 weeks to get money?

Will players need to go through verification on the new cashier even if they were previously verified?

kahntrutahn 11-07-2012 11:46 AM

Re: Merge Network: Carbon/PDC/Aced/Sportsbook/Players Only - Deposit/Withdrawal Thread

Only Carbon Poker has been migrated thus far. The double account balance bug appears to be rectified. PDC and Aced apparently not being done at the same time as previously planned... attempting to ascertain what time/date they will be migrated.

Checks are listed as "up to 6-8 weeks" Obviously we will need to wait and see what real world testing yields to know the true timeframes...

Unknown, prior to the client coming back up, this was not something anyone I know, knew would be necessary. It may be the case that new docs need to be uploaded. Reps are seeking clarification right now.

For sure, one will need to upload a check and some banking information in order to enable the wire option.

Re: Merge Network: Carbon/PDC/Aced/Sportsbook/Players Only - Deposit/Withdrawal Thread

Players with accounts on multiple skins [Carbon, PDC, Aced, Players Only, Sportsbook or Superbook] may have incorrect/flip-flopped account balances at first glance.

The fix appears to be pretty simple. Log into all of your accounts, this seems to fix it and show proper balances at each individual skin.

They went to Players Only Cashier because they have cash outs that is way way more quick than MERGE cashier before black friday I would get checks from them in three days no joke now about 8 days cannot beat that.
