I'm able to log in on the website but I can't access the poker client. Get the same error as poster above. Popup that says "Unable to connect to configuration servers. Please check your internet connection and try again. If the problem persists please try again later."

Same thing is happening to me on a Mac. The application loads and I'm able to log in, but every time I try to enter a game I get the spinning wheel and then the application unexpectedly quits.

How's the PLO traffic? I'm leery of playing on this site as they no longer accept no new accounts, so how will they get new players to keep the site going?

Anyone know the current status of table capping? Has anyone been capped recently?

I assume they'll re-open new registrations once their business issues are resolved. BTC withdrawals have been on the ball lately so that's at least one good sign that things are moving in the right direction.

It seems like years since I posted here with information pertinent to my pending cashout and it actually has been years.

Though I'm fairly certain no one with any authority at Carbon reads this forum anymore, I just wanted to really thank Carbon Poker for slowly taking away the features from the software which I don't feel like remembering completely.

The latest development is there is no longer any 'Live Chat' function I can find.

Way to go Carbon, you really know how to treat your customers!!

I just chatted live for the 1st time in my 5 years here at Carbon last week. I wasn't aware of the feature, but it popped up on their home page when I was trying to make a suggestion. And I wouldn't bet against the fact that this Withdrawal/Deposit thread and the Discussion thread (which is probably where you should have made your post) is monitored by Carbon staff. Whether they have any authority, who knows.

After they themselves discontinued the dedicated Merge/Carbon thread I just assumed they were tired of hearing complaints and criticisms. The annoying thing is most of the small things they took away couldn't possibly affect their profit margins.

Okay, just off the top of my head, in no order:

Play Chip Games
Player Notes
Player Symbols
Mixed Games
A lot of MTT changes were talked about on 2+2
.11 Turbo SNG are long gone
Smallest Micro Games for FL and NL slowly increasing
Ability to find and join a table a person on 'friend list' is playing at
Ability to choose a specific table
Ability to choose a specific seat
Ability to sweat any given table without having the minimum to sit

Cash Transfers (Bitcoin attempts proved to be a convoluted let down - was overjoyed and LUCKY
when my CC went through for the first time since 2008!)

Okay, I chose them, I continue to play, it is better than not playing. Yes. Not screaming
victim here, but come on, what will they take away next? I'm sure I forgot a few as well.

Rakeback, player points, and any sort of bonus system should have been at the top of that list imo.

Yeah, I knew I missed a bunch.. the little details were most noticeable to me.

We can keep a list going adding on whenever someone remembers another thing.

Oh and I always hated when they forced you to sit at table games with your entire bankroll. **** off, you'll get it all soon enough regardless of how I ration it out. ****ers.

Most of these features were removed because they weren't considered rec-friendly. They even banned tracking software and HUDs for about two weeks earlier this year. At the very least I think they should bring back the old seating format with wait-listing. It still works with the mobile client, so why the hell not the desktop version?
