yes - just request for table cap to be lifted. If they give you a blanket response, keep constantly persisting until they lift it. I did this successfully after a few E-mails. They never E-mailed saying it would be lifted but after one of my several E-mails I noticed my table cap was removed.

It happened after the update to bring back HH. They said they are aware of the problem and it will be worked on this week.

I recently started playing on Carbon again after about about a 5 or 6 year break from Poker. What happened?

I remember back then this site had a pretty decent chunk of players. I used to play 25nl and there I could easily play over 10 tables at once.

Now you'd be lucky to even more than a few tables running at any given time. What gives? Is it because they got rid of the VIP system?

I mean you can't find action on this site unless you are playing 10nl it seems.
This sucks, this site was my favorite to play on. I love the smileys and the bubble chat and the software is smooth and the tables are clean and easy to read.

As of right now there is less than 20 people playing 6 max at 25nl and only 9 people playing 9 max. I think it's safe to say this site is dead. I'm quite bummed, but i think i have to jump ship to a more populated room.

The most recent changes of changing the lobby layout so that you can't view individual tables and the removal of hand histories overnight which pissed people off even though they brought them back coupled with the continued table restricting and banning of regs are likely the main causes.

Sprinkle in the removal of the VIP system/point bonuses overnight, 0 communication from the site's management, and some inconsistent payout times in the past and it's going to be tough to keep players around.

Management is blatantly moving in the direction of protecting their sports bettors on the poker tables while still trying to provide at least a poker option for them at the same time. They seem to not care much at all about how much poker revenue they actually bring in.

And don't forget that they increased the NL rake.

They raised it to 5.5% from 5% for all stakes and they also greatly increased the caps from what they were formerly. I can't remember exactly what the caps had been but I do remember it was a significant increase that generated a lot of angry posts. The rake was raised not long before they closed their subforum; the NL games took a hit as a result.

I requested this (missing HH) a few days ago through support and the suggestion box. Also, suggested that a wait list be established for the invisible tables. Both seemed (to me) to be doable. No response yet.

The Nightly $11 10K Mega Stack showed up with standard starting stack of 5,000. Was just shut down. Guess these programmers aren't even in the top half of their graduating class.

I just noticed that the LHE rake has been increased.

Carbon's rake is now almost identical to Bovada's for all limit games with the exception of a few stakes :/

They are going to tell you that they cannot do that because the way they store the histories. Complete BS and just lazy programmers. Several of us have offered to write the queries and scripts to do it for them, but got no love.

But who knows? Maybe with all these latest changes, they implemented a way to do it. Wouldn't hold my breath though.

I do play limit and became aware of it through a reg who was sitting at the table. Before it became definite and the support confirmed my suggestions, i just recognized that the money is being dedudcted way quicker than it used to happen before.

The factor rake per hand was around 0,09 on a sample of 83.000 hands. Today i did mainly play 1/2 , 2/4 and a bit 4/8 and the charged me 260$ Rake on roughly 1300 hands. It's no sample but the factor was 0,199 instead. So the actually doubled the amount of rake and according to the rake list on their website, there is apparently no in-tiers division throughout and between the limits. But even in 1/2, they do have a rake cap of 3$ for 5+ Players.

It's just ridiculous. If there ain't 3 total braindead idiots at the table or you catch a maniac heads-up, i am asking myself how you're supposed to beat those limits any longer. If 1 reg is at the table and the rest are not leak-afflicted recreational players with tons of leaks, it's pointless to play below 4/8.

Whenever I think about Carbon's rake I think of stuff like this:

i figured everyone would have a Visa deposit option. i would email them. anyway, it cant hurt to look into bitcoin, it takes about 15 minutes of your time, maybe 20, to get it set up. its a very nice method and once u set it up u can have the option to use it with other sites when depositing and withdrawing.

I have been using bitcoin for maybe 4 or 5 months and it is by far the best option when withdrawing. the fees are much lower and the payouts much faster(on WPN this is the case)

Why play anything below 100nl? Giant rake trap / waste of time. I even think 100nl might be pushing it. Sorry bud, moving up through the micros in 2016 isn't an option.
