Sooooo, i was notified today by bookkeeping at my bank that my check bounced. I got the check number and the amount and relayed this to Aced. Carbon poker replied saying the following: Please accept our most sincerely apologies for any inconvenience caused.
In order to review your inquiry and issue a new withdrawal, we kindly request a copy of the stamped check or a notification letter from the bank on why the check cannot be clear. We will check with our processor and the proper department, as soon as we get an update we will let you know.
We do appreciate your cooperation and patience.

At the beginning they make it out to be my fault, like i need to provide evidence, lol. Toward the end of the email they say they will look into it, so they better get this right asap because this is BS if they are making me put in the time labor to resolve this

So nobody noticed that someone posted that checks are bouncing. Sigh.....

Talked to support and they say everything is fine. Will see after my deposit.

This is 100% standard operating procedure on US facing sites when checks bounce.

I've seen one person claim they had a check bounce. While it sucks for that player, this is common with all sites, even when PS was in the states, and is eventually taken care of by the site.

Maybe this belongs in Beginner's but could someone please explain why overlays are bad. In the few tourneys I play I look at overlays as extra money spit up between fewer people. . .

Good for players, bad for sites.

Big overlays on a consistent basis will likely result in the guarantees for those tournaments getting reduced. Lower guarantees will likely result in even less players playing.

Check bounced also, I'm overseas on vacation. Emailed support, will update when I hear anything...

You're right, it's been a fierce battle. Revolution was on a suicide mission but Merge managed to enact their own segregation to keep things close.

They're currently tied at 370. It's a nail biter for sure.

I have to say Winning and Bovada, especially Bovada with no re-entries, is looking better and better to me.

I love my HUD and hate the anon tables on Bovada but the games are worth it.

Antonfs, I am not from the NY/NJ area, but I had a big connection problem right in the middle of one of my sessions last night, I am scared to play now.

It seems to be alright right now, but as soon as I load up the tables, it starts lagging. It has been happening for two night in a row, during the day it has been alright.

Checks bouncing is bad, but it's not unheard of in the US market. The fact that they need to see a stamped copy or letter as proof seems completely normal, and expecting them to give you a refund without it seems like really bad business. (Not that you would cheat them, but so many players have cheated sites that they need to make sure all of their bases are covered.)

Really liking the new saturday schedule. Ready for Oct. 1st

I just don't understand the $25 and $50 guarantees. I understand that not everything can be at least 200 but that just seems awfully low.

I like the weekend schedules, satellites, and some hyper turbo flip fests I just hope they up some of the guarantees once the schedule is in full swing

That confused me too... why so low of a gtd?

EVERYTHING now has a GTD amount. And the amounts are conservative to start, I would assume because the schedule is being expanded in a rather massive way.

After a few samples I'm sure they will start adjusting GTDs upward for the tournaments that warrant such action.

I can see the low GTD during non peek times but if you can't make the GTD 100x the buyin in a NLH tourney during prime time then they can find a better option

This new schedule sux balls imo. Looks like all they've done is expanded re entry/late reg, dropped guars and worsened the structures. Great work.

And they ruined my favorite mtt on the schedule-the 6max deep stack turbo 2.5k guar. Dropped guar by 1k and reduced ss from 10k to 5k. Obv they want more ppl busting in the first hour to re enter.

What a **** show this is.

I've been putting off grinding Bovada but looks like now I'll have to. If we are going to get crap structures and low guarantees then may as well go there and at least play against worse players.
