I as a full ring player would feel adequately compensated if the rake was 4,5% and the multiplier was 6,5VPP/$

Yes but if there aren't enough major players doing it then they're not going to care about banning the few who do!! You have to be sure to have a huge amount doing it first.

They aren't going to ban anyone - that's for sure.

The tweet to him: "@RealKidPoker please fight for the players @PokerStars and help mgmt see that the change to WC rake without any compensation is unfair!"

The reply: "To all those tweeting at me about the rake changes, the issue has been addressed in the forum."

I have created a new PREFILLED TWEET FOR DANIEL/POKERSTARS: HERE in order to respond to his incorrect reply.

The tweet reads as follows: "@realkidpoker Daniel, the issue we are tweeting about @PokerStars has not been addressed. We are seeking these changes http://********/f7cmu"

That link is to TheMetetrown's post which is quoted below for clarification.

2. 4.5% linear rake up to the cap

PLUS ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TWO OPTIONS

3a. Winner take all rake calculation method
4a. 6x VPP across the board

OR

3b. WC rake calculation method
4b. 6.5x VPP across the board

I don't understand the Fixed Limit situation enough to say how much more they are getting screwed, but either lowering the rake a touch to 4% for FL or letting them keep their current incremental system seems fair if they really are getting hurt by 4.5% linear rake.

Stars makes more in this system, high volume players aren't getting too screwed. This outcome is sustainable. Everyone is happy. It's not everything we want, but it is a fair, reasonable solution.

Quote +1 to let Stars know what we want!

Pokerstars.fr 2012 changes, Pokerstars grabs money again

I am going to show you how evil Pokerstars has become.

The coeff has taken a 26.66% hit. Indeed, in 2011 the FPP multiplier was 7.5, and Pokerstars.fr has just chosen today that 5.5 was better for 2012.

Oviously, the dealt method is gone for the WC method.
Don't even think for one second that in France you can be both a winning player and beat the average rake .
Many players can expect to lose even up to 30%, but I'm quite confident to say
that on average It is 20ish.

One might think, any compensation?
Yes, the rake goes from 6.67% to 6.5%; no comments.

The milestones and stellar got decreased in a spectacular way.

A lot of regs are gonna lose up to 60% in bonuses overall in 2012.

Why does Pokerstars need so much money all of a sudden?
Why do they want to gamble with their reputation?

I have a hard time understanding the reason why Pokerstars wants to shoot himself in the foot.

I'm totally committed to giving up playing on Pokerstars until further notice.

To my fellow .com players, I know that you are used to being raked to death too, and I fully give you my support to try to get a better deal.

And seriously, if there were to be someone, group, entity etc of players to protest against an unfair rake system, would you think of anybody else but 2+2?, Plus, 700 may just be the beginning of a movement, specially lately.

Come on PokerStars, don't screw this up again. Do you really want a mass sitout to increase awareness of this issue and cost you money?

Right now, only a small subset of players are aware of how poorly you handled this. Have disgruntled players shut down some of your most profitable games, and I guarantee way more people are going to be aware of how greedy and short-sighted current management appears to be.

You have one last chance to make this right before we strike in 3 days. Steve's last post was a day after his first about the changes so clearly things can be decided quickly over there. Take this opportunity to not make this worse for you and keep your most loyal customers. That has to be a worthwhile goal.

Also, with this type of movement, its the little things that go a long way. If everyone involved could change their 2p2 location to "Sitting out @ PokerStars Jan 1st" that would help build awareness in other locations of 2p2 where this topic isnt as hot.

Don't have enough $$ to join on Jan 1st but this should go on if Stars don't adjust and will deposit to join the sitout asap.
