Re: Latest Party Poker Release - Stability Improvements

Is it standard for the "Free Ride" day counter bar to go up, but the hour counter stay the same? I started my "Free Ride" yesterday after putting in an 8 hour session and since the T&C say:
Quote:
On the day that you opted in or restarted, any hours that have been played from 00:01 ET to the moment the player restarts/opts in will be counted towards your new 30–day period target hours
I assumed that it would be OK to start it after already doing the 8 hours.

I can see it says "Your daily status will be updated at 10:00 ET the next day", so prolly it'll be OK, but it seems a bit odd the day counter bar has updated and not the hour counter?

Hours doesnt update realtime.

I have been experiencing some lag problem lately. Can you axplain the 16 bit color thing for less lag again?

And,- BOOOOOOOOOOOM!:

So far you have played for 144.19 hours towards your target of 160 hours. You still have to play for another 15.81 hours before 01-JUL-2008 to be able to enjoy commission-free poker play.

Re: Latest Party Poker Release - Stability Improvements

I've had some lag today. after clicking it took 5seconds for the software to do something on a few occations. So I guess it's not my ISP?

very nice cookie. do you play other promos/bonuses at the same time? What kind of total rakeback-% are you expecting from the 30 day period?

And to apologize party a little since I've been telling that my vip host is slow. I have to admit that it was my own fault since I misunderstood something. I've been sending email to info@partypoker since I thought they would be cc'ed automatically to my vip host. But that is obviously not right and has been causing the delays.

Today I exchanged a few emails with my vip host with prompt responses so no problems there anymore.

Re: Latest Party Poker Release - Stability Improvements

No other promos, got ass raped by the last free ride bonus by playing a lot one month and not being able to play that + some when I needed too, so got zero free days from that.

My goal was pretty much at zero points a week 4 weeks ago. Now I get a goal of 2Kish, Im making between 5 and 6K each week.

So total will be the 33% + a little for the points + my weekly goals will have reached a higher level. But Im playing good and winning lots on the tables.

I would love it if Bill could confirm that rake made on rakefree days from vip pass won't get deducted from the rake made in the 240 hours for free ride

Any plans to change the monthly leader board? The current setup gives no incentive to move from 100 up to 1 - providing one should result in a win-win situation for everybody.

Yep, it updated shortly after I made that post (10am ET I guess). Still seems to be 30 minutes less than PT says, but oh well.

I don't really know why but it helps stop the "chugs". If you find you get real bad chugs after about 30 minutes of playing then putting your Windows into 16bit colour (next session - not after the chugs hit) seems to fix it.

Yep, I've been getting this today too - was blaming it on my ISP as well, but looks like it's a Party-side problem. Luckily so far I've not timed out from it (fingers crossed).

Same goes for the weekly leaderboard - no incentive to play when you can see that #1 is not obtainable.

Re: Latest Party Poker Release - Stability Improvements

I just played in party's $25.4k freeroll and got a big stack. Then the tournament just disappeared and I noticed that it should've been $2.9 freeroll (2.5k + 4x100 for every goal scored today in football)

I don't expect anything from party for this, atleast without complaining about it.

Re: Latest Party Poker Release - Stability Improvements

PartyBill>> You mentioned something about a smaller version of the freeride promo for players wanting to play less than 240 hours. Any news on that?

I want to play my rakefree days soon, and might as well try to get all those hours to count towards some kind of other promotion is possible.

When I was moving part of my roll to FTP Party asked me to provide my driver's license because I cashed out more than 10K within a month - maybe that's a standard procedure then? The whole process took about an hour - then I was able to withdraw any amount again. That was like two weeks ago.

About 20 months ago I have started my roll from scratch at Party, then built it to several figures, cashing out several times more, and providing PP with loads of rake. Recently, because of drying games (I play PLO) and sadly disappointing promotions I've moved to FTP. I still prefer PP software to FTP (had some great mods), but life goes on.

Still, TY Party for the good time I had. I hope you will somehow manage to get me (and my rake) back. I hope you will somehow manage to get all the others regulars back as well...

Good luck.

Juk

QFT and the fact that the monthly freeroll didn't even run this month AFAIK (5k more in partys back pocket).
