Sorry to bump a OLD scam post. However I believe I have some info that will be beneficial to those that were scammed by Matthew Matsch.

I ran into Matthew Matsch just recently on a private poker Facebook group.

I had some private interactions with him, in which lead me to do some searches for him and lead me to this thread.

After outing him, he wants to try to make things right.

Is where a way to get a list of people and the amount that he owes them from past scams?

I'd like to start if with an apology, I just really can't give any excuse or reasoning from what happened. I also agree with the above and would like to make things right, I really don't know where to begin but with minimal flaming, get the repayment process going.

I have never heard of this site, but this thread came up in a google search. This guy is still scamming. He hasn't changed! Be careful!

Well. It looks like this guy is up to old tricks. He has scammed several people through different "Private" Facebook groups using Venmo this time rather than PayPal. The guy truly is a piece of sh*t.

How is this guy out and able to use a computer again? His release wouldn't be till next year. Did they let him off of everything early? Guess prison wasn't enough for him. Send him back to be raped more by his celly.

How do his scams work ?

I mean I understand some of the goings on, but feel like if we know what the MO is, we can avoid it outselves

With another scam...

This time he has moved on to selling stolen frequent flyer miles on Craigslist and FlightNuts. Stealing miles from people. Smh.

He has gained access to a couple high mileage airline rewards account holders and has been selling them on classifieds. Last one was 100k miles for $400.

He will ask for Google Pay, which he knows how to get the payments pushed immediately by asking the sender to contact the chat support to push it through. What he does with the Google Pay money, who knows... gambling it or funneling another scheme. He owes so much people so much money and still hasn't learned his lesson.

He puts his cell phone to do deal via text, as most scanners do.
Just text 920-327-0983 and ask about the airline miles and you'll see.

That number registered to MATTHEW MATCSH of Wisconsin, the gambler and defrauder.


He uses these Google Pay emails or numbers for his airlines scam:

He is selling miles at a discount, by gifting miles which are from compromised AAdvantage Accounts of "Jay Brickell" Million Miler Account: 53ME322, and compromised United Mileage Plus accounts of "Benjamin".

I have screenshots he sent of his deals, his mug shot which you guys probably already seen, as well as details of communications, and his ads. So much info. His latest was revealing that he came back form Vegas and his sitter died and he needs money to go to the funeral. He claims his roomate works for American Airlines and his helping be his plug. Also claims he's a airline miles broker. A complaint to American Airlines and United Airlines has been filed with the documents and information obtained all sent.

Search Craigslist Chicago or New York, his posts is titled "Delta airlines, American, United and more"

This guy is the scum of the earth. Long rap sheet, defrauding others, emotionally unstable, the world is better without him. (in jail)

But yeah for those curious, or who got burned, this is what is is currently up to, he is now in the frequent flyer carding game using classified ads and Google Pay to cash out.



Let's try to shut him down, or confiscate his business. Serve him justice. He's out of jail but he'll be back.

I think if we spread this thread, make it go viral on social media, and all alert American, United, and Delta Airlines, we can further suppress his scamming efforts.

When he doesn't get his way, here is him claiming his roommate works for AA and is his point of contact, which if this roomate does work for AA and lives in Wisconsin area where Matthew Matsch or Rico lives, American Airlines can easily identify him through cross-reference of accounts access time stamps and employment data, exposing them both:

So there you have it. Some poetic justice. He's still out there plotting his next scheme as he is in the Stolen Airline Miles game. It wouldn't surprise me if he gambles away his money from scams. Hopefully he gets preoccupied in his scamming security methods which will slow him down, as well as the airlines being notified. He is being watched.

He is known to scam people by accepting payment first and not sending the stolen miles, as well as sending stolen miles from comprised accounts to attempt to look like he never scams. He is a SCAMMER.

To quote his poker terms, he has a short-stack and weak hand. A many-to-one battle he is facing. He will be sent back to jail.

If anyone has any more information to add to the prosecution of MATTHEW MATSCH, of WISCONSIN, please add to this thread. Or notify authorities and airlines of this thread.
