Has there been any reduction on fees for cashing out on Intertops? I read an article that claimed both Intertops and Juicy stakes were reducing thier fees if you raked a certain amount in the month but im not seeing that in the client. Anyone got any info on this?

Juicy's 2+2 rep posted in their thread: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...&postcount=242

Start at that post and subsequent follow-ups for clarifications. Haven't seen anything similar from Intertops rep here.

Hi everyone and particularly the Intertops Rep,

I'm a recreational player in the UK who has been playing on Intertops for a couple of years now. (I went through the proper documents verification process when I signed up.)

When I tried to log onto Intertops poker a couple of nights ago, I got an error message that suggested my account had been locked out. So I made enquiries with the Live Support and was told my account had been deactivated and that the Intertops admin team would look into the issue for me and respond by email soon.

So, I waited a couple of days and checked my email and found this:

Dear Adam,

Thank you for choosing Intertops.

Thank you for contacting us regarding the error you received yesterday when trying to login into your poker account.

We regret to advise, due to regulation changes in your location, we are not accepting UK players at this time; therefore your account will remain closed. This decision was made by Management and their decision is final.

We humbly apologize for any inconvenience caused. However, in regards to your account balance, we are more than happy to pay you. Please be advised that we have sent a request to our Payments Team to have your balance sent to you.

We wish you the best in your online game experience.

Sincerely,
Elroy S.
Intertops Customer Support

I can't say that I follow online poker registration closely but I was surprised to find that Intertops are no longer accepting UK players. Am I the only regular reader of this forum to be affected?

If Intertops say I can't play there anymore, so be it. But as, I enjoyed my time playing there and will be sad to leave, I'd like to just be 100% certain that this isn't some mistake..?

Any help would be appreciated... If the Intertops Rep wants to send me a private message to take this conversation offline, that's more than fine with me. I also have a query about getting my funds returned as I had another email that stated...

Dear Adam,

Thank you for choosing Intertops.

We are writing to find out if you have a Skrill/MoneyBookers account or an EcoCard account that we may send your funds to; since Neteller is no longer available as a withdrawal option for United Kingdom customers. Please respond to us at your earliest convenience, so that we may proceed with your withdrawal.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
Lenia
Intertops Customer Support

...and I don't have a Skrill/MoneyBookers account nor EcoCard (I don't actually know what they are), I just have a Neteller account (I used it to make my deposit) and a UK bank account.

Thanks in advance,
Adam

I had to reopen an old, unused Skrill account to receive money from another site. After sending proof of who I am, within a couple of hours of it being reopened, I received part of my requested withdrawal.

Go to https://www.skrill.com/en/personal/ and open an account. Simples.

Quite a few sites actually now boot players from the UK because they don't intend to buy a license, for example Winamax. They should be able to send the funds to your bank account though.

Intertops has been running online satellite tournaments awarding the champions with prize packages sending them to the CPT Punta Cana live tournament. I'll be going along with them to send back stories, photos and videos. Haha -- tough job, but someone's gotta do it!

I've been in touch with 4 of the guys that are coming. Here's a little about them. We'll be taking two more people -- maybe you?!

There are two more online satellite tournament series that will award two more $4000 CPT prize packages and add two more online champions to the Living the Dream Team roster. One series begins today and the final series begins September 23. Players can win their way to the Finals (September 6 and October 4) or buy-in at any point in the 3-tier tournament. Step 1 tournaments ($2.00 + $.20) are held daily at 14:00, 17:00, 20:00, 23:00 and 02:00 GMT.

So far the Team includes: 32 year old Austrian poker pro, Daniel Montagnolli; Neil Slade, a builder and recreational poker player from Hampshire UK; Derek Scallon, a Chicago poker pro and film producer, and Steven Loney, a businessman who plays poker for fun.

Daniel recently quit his job to become a full-time poker player beginning September 1. He was in the Caribbean last fall, too, when he came third in the CPT/WPT in St Maarten and won $1600. His biggest win to date was the No Limit Hold’em Championship Event at the 2007 Legends of Poker in Los Angeles where he came 25th and won $25,150. Montagnolli is listed on the Hendon Mob’s United States All Time Money List. He’s been active at PokerStrategy.com where he’s known as Monze. Daniel shares his thoughts on his satellite tournament win on the Living the Dream poker blog today.

Neal, a 44 year old builder and father of two from Hampshire, UK, plays online poker a couple of times a week trying to satellite into live events. He’s won seats at WSOP events, WPT, UKIPT and GPS this way. His goal is to play an EPT tournament. This will be his second live poker tournament in Dominican Republic -- he won a seat at the CPT Punta Cana two years ago and came in 6th, winning $9000.

Derek Scallon, a professional poker player from Chicago, produced a documentary on online poker called Bet Raise Fold in 2013. He placed 122nd in the $10K No Limit Texas Hold’em World Championship at the 2006 WSOP 2006 and won $ 51,129.

Steven Loney, a toy business entrepreneur, just plays poker for fun but will be seated at the Main Event in Punta Cana with the rest of the Team thanks to some lucky cards and some smart moves at the online satellite he won in May. Steven wrote about that experience the Living the Dream poker blog.

Realistically, where is the traffic for that tournament supposed to come from right now? And what kind of guarantee would you suggest for it?

HU tables from $0.50/$1.00 and above have been temporarily disabled.
We will run an evaluation in a couple of weeks and decide if we bring them back or not.

Kind regards,

I think it's good the HU tables are gone. The volume is often so low you can get HU on a 6-max table if you want it. All it did was isolate the player pool.

Totally agree HU tables weren't great for action as a whole. We need more 6-max tables across the board.

The regulatory changes are only that businesses offering commercial gambling in Great Britain must be regulated and licensed by and comply with the reasonable rules of the Gambling Commission, aren't they?

Why would you not apply for such a licence, like almost all, if not all, of the other reputable online poker providers?

Maybe because those licenses are not cheap. Winamax, who is challenging PokerStars as market leader in France, didn't get one either and booted all players from the UK. And to be honest, given the traffic on Revolution network in general it would not make much sense either.

This is a highly competitive market full of big players, and we only had a handful of active UK customers.

I see that players from NY are no longer accepted here on Intertops. I have a small roll on here that I've had for a couple of years and I have been in NY the entire time. Will I be able to continue to make deposits on here?

Thanks

I don't think this is necessary at this point. Live chat checked my account and said it was open, in good standing, and I would be able to make future deposits.

I should be all set, yes?

Hi XXXXX!
I am sorry to have to notify you that Intertops can no longer offer you a rakeback deal and the deal will be removed today.
So this is the email I got today from pokermanager. It was just me?

On the same day I got a mail from btggaming about my old lock account. Keep in mind I had 15k+ on lock at the time. Part of it:

Quote:
We would like to invite you back to our network if you have not already done so.
If your balance was less than $100 we will immediately cover it to allowing you to continue enjoying the game you are passionate about. You will receive 50% immediately in cash up front and 50% in Free Money added to a free money account. Simply create an account and send details to xxx@xxx.
We also have a program in place for balances above $100. Contact us at VIP@purepoker.eu for assistance.
So WTF is going on? I can t belive me getting no more rakeback and this mail are a coincidence, but I had the ideia pure and intertops only share software, they were different companies with different player pools, and that there were a lot of payments problems for larger balances at pure? Am I wrong at some point?
