I have been playing tournaments on french stars for 2 months now and I am really happy about the soft and small fields.
Rake is a bit higher then on .eu but that doesnt matter that much. However since I also like to play headsup on other sites I tryed it out on .fr.
Games are just lol soft - much softer then hu on .eu.
Whats confusing me is the super high rake on cash tables.
Its just insane. So my question is are the cash game tables even beatable on france?
They sure are soft and FPPs go up faster but cmon rake is killing it. Are there any pros on cash tables on france that can give some info?
Also are french residents able to get a rakeback there and us foreigners can not?

Just think for a minute about why the HU cash tables are so soft. There's your answer.

Playing MTT's is ok.
Cash games are a no go, unless you play at least midstakes.

Only the 1% can beat nl25 at .fr short handed cash tables.

These govt licensed sites seem to be killing the online cash ring game market. Incredibly high rake...taxes...etc.......I hope it isnt as bad when and if the us ever gets govt run sites

Regulation is bad indeed.

ARJEL has still pending the zoom poker issue for pokerstars. While in Spain and Italy you can play zoom in France you can't =/. That just shows ARJEL does not care anything about poker there.

BAD regulation is bad for poker and I guess this is the case for now

The french regulation is a joke. I wouldn't be surprised if anything below 2/4 is nearly unbeatable, and 2/4+ barely runs so...

Definitely unregulated free market online poker seems to be better.
