awesome idea and i can't wait to be able to get one myself. my only grip is that this should be free as long as you have a minimum balance of like 10k or something. i think that's fair and it looks way better than charging for extra secrity.

also wanna throw out that i have one of these and feel infinitely safe regarding security on stars and have had zero issues using it

I'm using the token. It is so simple to use but this additional layer of security is awesome. I had not played Stars for a considerable time. Just occassionally but I am now putting much more games there as a direct result of this. I only had a small amount of money on Stars and was going to do a transfer to top it up. However, I thought I would grind away at lower stakes and build it up and I have to say I am enjoying it again.

Top top (I sound like Jamie Gold) marks to Stars on this.

I would definitly play more on stars and less in other rooms, just because i do not have to fear about account hacks then. So its a win/win.. go go stars

So is possible that we can get some idea (even a very rough idea...) on when the rest of us can expect to get our hands on one of these?

just out of curiosity what happens if you lose this token?

they sent me a list of one time passwords in the mail. so if i lose it i use the one time password to accsess my account and change the settings back to where i dont need it until i get a new one

We're really reluctant to provide an estimated date, because we don't want to give you expectations that we don't live up to.

We don't want to deploy a system that accidentally locks you out of your accounts, and need to properly test it to avoid this. You would be justifiably angry if we activated something that stopped you from playing, and by working with a small group of testers at first, we're hoping to avoid this problem.

That said, we're working on the expectation that these tokens will be made more widely available over the next few months, and that the new and improved PokerStars PIN will be more widely available sooner. Of course, something may arise to delay this, so we'll keep doing our best to offer it to you as soon as possible.
