Would be easier/better if it was a usb device that had to be plugged in.

Not really, if you have desktop with no USB ports in front.

I have used those tokens, they are nice.

If it doesn't plug into a USB port on one's computer, then how does it work?

This is great stuff and Stars should be applauded for making it happen so quickly.

In short, no.

The USB connector is not for remembering passwords, but for the use of certificate-based authentication, which is beyond the scope of this project. Of course, anything is possible down the track, but the USB function won't do what you're seeking anyway.

Any idea how many FPP's this will cost, and when it will be released to the masses Michael?

I don't know the answer to either question yet. We want to made it widely accessible as quickly as possible (obviously we think this is a good thing for PokerStars players) but want to also make sure we get it right. The login authentication process is very sensitive, and we think it is best to invest the time to get it right rather than hurriedly rushing it.

PokerStars ROCKS!

Best customer service!

Best software!

And now they developed a really useful security feature, something so many players wanted so bad for years.

A+

Will pay a lot of rake in the future.

It displays a number that you type in by hand.

It is not a random number. It is a number determined by an algorithm so there doesn't need to be a connection between the RSA token and the RSA mother ship.
