Re: ***Hero Poker CEO Official Player Relations Thread***

Hey David,

Just a quick note to let you know that I see that the $33 Satellite ticket issue I mentioned here has been resolved, and a $33 ticket can now be used on the daily $33 freezeout. Nice!

Also I had an issue where a table was prompting me for whether I wanted to rebuy but it didn't pop up as active table awaiting action so it just timed out knocking me out of the tourney.

That said I'm still able to multi-table 4-5 tables on a 10.1" netbook using a touchpad mouse which isn't exactly the most optimal setup.
I get a humming sound when it is my turn to act. Go to settings at the bottom of the lobby. Then, look for the "sounds" tab. Hopefully, that will help.

It might be an issue with the crappy speaker in my netbook... Although I've noticed the humming before but for some reason thinking it seemed to only play when prompting me to muck or show your cards. I just miss the beep beep beep that Poker Stars uses which always worked fine on my netbook.

The humming sounds is really annoying. I thought it was my computer making bad sounds. I only get it if I have automuck off, and have the show/muck option.

I feel like Jaws is about to kill me when I take too long to act

I guess it is subjective. I like the hum much better. Always found PS and FTP sounds annoying.

I wouldn't say "people...are starting to". I counted 2 in the Merge withdrawal thread in the past couple weeks (whose cashouts took ~2+ weeks), though I'm not going to go back and check. And those were gift cards, NOT checks. The gift cards, it seems, are for smaller amounts (< $1k). I imagine the gift cards are processed through different processors than checks; I don't think their processing times will have any effect on those for checks, except of course to lighten the backlog.

Just to update everyone...I emailed david about redeeming my quarter quickie tournament tickets for cash and he responded and deposited the cash into my account in less than 30 minutes. Another testament to how great David's customer service is. And also pretty cool to get cash for those as I expected them to just go to waste.

So when does Merge plan to re-open to new US players?

Just to qualify this, it is in process and hopefully it will be resolved by today: in this case since you are not a US player, the cash out should be done very quickly. But unfortunately, all accounts need to be ID verified. I've confirmed that support has verified your account and I've asked payments to urgently look into it.

Thanks,
David

Sure David,

Thank you very much for the support! I understand. I was just a bit rushed as always hehe!
