There's not much you can do about not playing for now. I registered for one that had like 16 people in it and played cash for about 2 hours. Unregistered before leaving my house and it had about 20 people in it. I think I'd be happy playing in a freeroll with only a few other players. Excited for the $500 one on Sunday though!

Dave, now that Stars and other sites such as Terminal Poker are getting Rush poker variants what would it take to get Merge to try something like that?

the HeroPoker tables are now reading Hero Poker.co.UK. I know this was an issue before, and it was changed quickly, should we (U.S. players) be worried??

No not at all, its part of the design and branding change, and we'll be making the full switch over by the end of the month. We are committed to all our players, but our focus will be on the Asia Pacific moving forward.

Best,
Dave

As our cashier is with Merge, save AUS, it is dependent upon them, but I've reviewed the process and if you are in the US, it is slow, but it makes it there. As soon as I get new information I will update things immediately.

There is a rumor that the lock skin has a VIP point store, and a virtual hand-history replayer, any chance HERO will be getting these accommodations as well?
I think this needs adjustment as well, so we'll look to lower the blinds starting on Monday.

We've been looking into both as well, the VIP store will likely be launched in mid-year (Dan is being sent to China next month to finalize things) and the the hand replayer will be looked at after March as there are some other things in the pipeline right now.

I will definitely bring it up when I see them next month, I think it is just about timing, but while everyone is getting a Rush poker variant, I'd also like to review the patent issues on it (although I do know it is quite easy to side step things like that, I'd like to form my own opinion on it), but I've heard that the zoom poker is doing great in testing.

More people finding out about the Apples will help, too. As partly stated earlier, some of the advertisements atop the lobby change too fast; and some are ok. Actually, some seem to take forever, even. I think someone screwed up the time element.

You can play with the money immediately, but you can't cash it out until you release it. The release is 20 VIPs/1 dollar.

The only restriction is on withdrawing the money. You need to earn I believe 10 points per $1 in order to withdraw. Transfers may also be affected as well. But the money is available right away to play with.
