Random is random. The influences are irrelevant whatever they are if they have no ability to intentionally manipulate the deck.
Well, that's exactly the point, isn't it. If this article is correct, then the cards falling are influenced by actions of the players, as these are parts of the inputs to the RNG. And in that case I wouldn't call it random anymore. To spell it out; if cards dealt are different if your opponents are loose or tight, that's simply not random.
That FT has a horrid way of generating random numbers obviously doesn't mean it's rigged, unless there is some other logic built in. But that dealt cards are affected by betting patterns is enough to make me sceptical to the entire setup. And again, in my experience there is a huge difference between stars and tilt, whether that's related to the RNG or not.
Shuffle and deal, I say.
