Re: Fulltilt froze my account with 47 grand in it...ROUND TWO

survival - in the previous thread she claimed she was keeping quiet due to the advice of her lawyer or something...and I think she said that they were exploring possibilities or something like that. I don't remember for sure though and don't feel like trying to find it. Somebody else probably remembers better than me.

She might have been bluffing though and never had a layer in the first place for all I know. She is a poker-player afterall and they poker-players do occasionally bluff.

Any lawyer can tell her to keep quiet. That really means nothing. They can explore possibilities until the cows come home, but it doesn't mean they have a chance in H-E double hockey sticks of winning this battle in court. You can be rest assured that no US court would pick up this lawsuit. I really don't think she or her lawyer have a leg to stand on.

Well, I don't think so either.
I only mentioned it because you previously stated "it's not like she could get a lawyer involved" which indicated to me that you were not aware that she already DID have a lawyer involved.

Crane-
Druff is pretty on target in that this thread has little bearing on the other thread at this point.

As for whether he has ever even seen 47K let's ask him directly...

Todd how much did you get for your WSOP win?

Well, she may or may not have a lawyer involved...so you're right...We're just going by what she says. I should have worded it differently. Anyone can consult a lawyer, and talk to a lawyer(in essence getting them "involved")about an issue.

I just meant that the lawyer really has no course of action, seeing how this would be an international affair, and that each country has conflicting laws about online Gambling etc.

A most revealing pic. Check the keyboard. You are using a foot bot! A clear violation.

Seriously, I have followed these "bot" threads for a while since I'm little concerned about putting a large amount of cash on FullTilt. From what I understand, the methods that sites like FullTilt use to detect bots are pretty darn reliable. Yet from your posts, I just don't think you've personally used one or need to use one. I don't know what to think. I just hope justice prevails.

Isnt it strange that a hu player would make a video on full ring tables to show they aren't a bot?

If only stars security hadn't been fooled by this trick! Sounds like they need you on the team.

they may be able to be sued in the US. In the alternative, they can definitely be sued in FTP's jurisdiction, which obviously has legalized online gaming. Foreign judgments are typically enforced in US courts. Never say can't survivaldude (especially when talking out of one's arse ).

There is also a gaming commission where a claim can be made (talked about in one of these other long threads) - I even gave contact information for local reps on the board in the U.S.

Also, if Mr. Gatorade is wrong and has been posting her name all over the internet as a cheater, etc. (speculation - i've never been to his site nor do I follow this that closely) there could be a cause of action against him directly in the US.

It is quite possible that she hasnt done any of this because she has no case - who knows as it is not clear whether we have all the information.

Come on guys. Are we just going to re-hash an old post without any new information. There is nothing here that adds anything.

@OP :

I read both these threads but have decided to refrain from posting any comments up until now, but after looking at that site I have to ask :

Don't get me wrong, but, you are pretty hot, WTF are you doing wasting your life playing poker ? Ex-boyfriend ? At your age (guessing 34-ish) you should have a husband and children. What is this world coming to ?

That being said, I hope that justice prevails in the end.
