Ferguson has a record of developing bots (on IRC). Some time later, he designed the FTP software.
I think everyone can be fairly confident that FTP doesn't have any bad practices or deceive players in any way today, but what they did in the past until they reach where they are today, well, in the least, we can't know 100% and I certainly won't be as sure as you.
(And it's obvious that the goal of Sillysal is to settle this, or get her money back plus damages. If she goes into accusations beyond what directly relates to her case, but things that are of general concern of every player and her in particular, as a mean to win her case, this shouldn't be abig deal).
