Full Tilt Poker going Tilt?

Hi,

About 3 weeks ago I registered @ Full tilt poker and deposited 100$

After approx. one week of playing my account had been locked due to security restrictions.
Full Tilt poker wanted to verify my name, address, etc, the usual at most sites...

So I sent them the requested documents.
For the time of one week I did not hear from them, so I sent them an E-mail requesting a status in this case. No answer for some days...
I sent them another mail... after few days someone finally answered stating that they could not verify my address with that certain document, requesting phone bill instead.

So I sent them my latest phonebill.
Some days later (today) I received the following e-mail:

Stating that I still need to repay an amount...why and which amount??!!

How can I deposit some more money without being able to log in and besides why would I do that when there is still 3/4 of the deposited 100$ left?

Has someone also ever experienced this odd problem?

Any advice in this case?

Thanks in advance!

Grtz,

Goldie

Did you take a marker out and have not paid it back? I hope note because juice is running at 15%.

FTPSean will probably show up in the thread to help you out in a while. He's an official Rep from FTP and should be able to move the situation along for you.

Are you sure your payment went through? Have you checked your transaction history? My initial thought is that your bank or credit card issued a charge back. That would mean FTP never got paid for your deposit.

Thx for the quick response guys!

I have already checked the transaction history of my bankaccount over the internet and the payment did go through on 31/11/2009.

In the past I have noticed that the transaction logs of my CC come in a bit later than the transactions on my savings-account (prolly because they have to get the transaction log/details from the external cccompany)
Just to make sure I'll go to the bank on monday and ask for more details about the transaction.

Would there be any reason for the bank or cccompany to issue a charge back besides not having enough money, which was/is not the problem in this case?

I just think that it all would be more transparent if FT mentioned what went wrong and why I still own them money...
If the problem mentioned above (issue back) is the real issue, I would know what's going on and it would be no prob to do the deposit again.

Instead I found myself somehow a bit in the dark and though someone over had might have experienced the same prob.

Thx 4 the replies, I'm convinced it will be sorted out soon then.

Grtz!

Re: Full Tilt Poker going Tilt?

He's got a point though.

Assuming you didn't default/chargeback an earlier account, there's also the need to consider that someone with the same name as yours did this with their account and you're being stuck with this.

Depends on how common your full name is anyway.

(Didn't know they had a November 31 in Europe.)

We keep it a secret from people from Asia, The Americas, and Africa. (Don't know why - we're just mean I suppose).

We hold the biggest and best party on that day and groggily re-synch with the rest of the world on the first of December.

Obv. I suppose the most amazing thing is it's not a bank holiday either.

Oh well.

Re: Full Tilt Poker going Tilt?

Sorry for the typo guys...
it had to be 31/12/2010, off course

This is the first time I played on Full tilt so I do not have any other accounts or what so ever.

I went to the bank monday and asked for details about the transaction and it appears to be like DrMickHead said: The amount was issued back about 10 days after I deposited.
The bank could not provide me with a good explanation for this error.

As I said before: I deposited 100$, think I had 75$ left before account got locked. Bank re-issued 100$.
So if Full Tilt won't take time to respond to mails in which I asked for an explanation and how to transfer the money if I cannot login...I won't give it any effort either...

Thank you all for your responses!

grtz!
