this is true.If ftp tries to get money from a closed bank account, the bank will return the debit as account closed and that's the end. The bank will not do anything further. The issue is only between the player and fulltilt. I know the ACH regulations since I deal with it daily.

i made a few echeck deposits in the past couple of months. the deposits went through into my ftp account fine but have not been deducted from my bank.

is anyone else having this issue?

does anyone know when it will finally show up on the bank statements?

i tried to do a search for this issue but didn't come up with anything specific.

They're having processor issues, it's taking a few weeks for the people affected.

Ditto for me. Deposits between 11/18 - 12/22 haven't cleared. I think I'm going to request a wire transfer regardless of whether the deposits hit my bank statement.

Yeah no, not "a few weeks", I have one dating back to October so it may be quicker for some but not here.

I am probably pretty stupid for doing this, but I tend to deposit small amounts onto fulltilt, almost daily, using Instant echecks. It has always worked great, and they'd deduct the funds from my bank account the next day.

I have not had a deposit I made get deducted from my bank account since Nov 16th. I have made about 40 deposits.

Oddly enough, I have also made withdrawals and they have been wiring the money to me.

They have explained that it is a third party processing issue and it should be resolved soon. In the meantime, I have about $4000 in uncleared deposits. I am very tempted to just close my bank account and not pay them. It is very frustrating to me to have all of these uncleared "checks" out there. For months now.

So - I am writing to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. Has anyone else heard back from FTP on time frames.

OR - has anyone closed a bank account while FtP was still clearing deposits. If so, what do they do? I don't mind if they freeze my account. I am willing to write a check when it is all done to pay them, I just don't want a collection agency after me.

Let me know if anyone has had similar experience and if you advise to just wait it out no matter how long it takes or close my bank account and move on.

thanks so much!

$4000 is a lot of money...as is 40 deposits in 2 months. Sounds like a gambling problem lol.

New trend in e checks. Freeroll sites due to slow processing of checks. Wonder how many people will figure out the loophole before sites just take away echecks for USA players.

Pretty sure if this problem continues that echecks are just going to disappear. It's going to be a pain for PS to deal with all these people that want to scam them out of money. Kinda sucks...but I'm happy I play more live than online lol.

Same thing here. Been about a week now it hasn't cleared my bank.I believe if you close the account or take the money out and they can't get to it, they will deduct it from your poker account ( if you have enough to cover).

This is true. They are most likely going to deduct the balance from your poker account, and if you don't have the funds to cover...you'll be negative.

Well I am sure you know by now, Stars just started to deduct the past deposits from your account and in some cases leaving you with a negative balance.

They are asking you to deposit what you owe.

I assume they have a new 3rd party processor and they need a new deposit request from the player to retrieve that old money.

You people making these threads are unreal. If for whatever reason it took a poker site 3 months to pay you $4000 you won would you just say oh well it's been 3 months I guess I'm beat no money for me? If the sum of all these deadbeats is significant enough it truly could end echeck deposits in the USA and then we're close to screwed.

close your account..once they try to get money and can't too bad..there's really nothing they can do if they keep trying to debit an acct that is closed.

Why would you ever give this as advice? Do you not play online poker? You'd rather just play vs people who only cashout? I know people hate the sites and whatnot, but the sites forking over every fish's echeck is detrimental to the players.

I am having the same issue...i have $156 worth of deposits dating back to Nov 12th 2010 tht have yet to clear my bank account.

Being a good person, i emailed support to inquire about it and they told me that same thing...that they are having problems with third party processors blah blah blah....and that they would notify me when they would attempt to withdrawl the money from my account.

The thing i dont get is why would they continue to let me make MORE echeck deposits....???

It seems they have limited me to (2) per day which is good i guess, but like the guy has said above...what is to stop me from just closing my account and getting away with playing for free???

does anyone have any insight on to when this will be resolved?

I cannot believe you people coming on here wanting to know if and how you can get out of not paying your debts. It is unreal. Why don't you just pretend they have taking it out already. You should be keeping your checkbook up to date and it should include your deposits to FT.

Unfortunately I see this as the beginning to the end of online poker for us americans. It is going to be too much hassle for these sites. Thanks again Bush. You are a bigger scumbag then these people that don't want to pay what they owe.
