Full Tilt isn't clearing my deposits - any advice? Full Tilt isn't clearing my deposits - any advice?

Between November 20-23, I made 2 deposits into my Full Tilt Account of $600 each by instant E-check. It is now almost January of the new year and the money has still not been taken out of my checking account. Is it normal of late for Full Tilt to take this long to liquidate the money. How long do they have to take it?

This has happened to a bunch of people because of payment processor problems.

Wait a year before you even think about spending the money. Chances are that they will puzzle it all out eventually.

I dont think they can do anything to him since he is in another country until the legistration changes sometime in the future where online poker is legalized in the USA. Im not sure though just what I think.

First off they have the social security numbers for us, so they can place collections. Second, when they submit payment to the bank the bank can come after a person with a closed account and it can render a person ineligible for other bank accounts ( they are all linked together). I think it's weird that no one considers the money gone.

Thank you this is exactly what I told him. I said prolly in the end your gonna get hit all types of fees. than your old bank now will trace you to your new bank and they will ask for the money or what not.

Your old bank can't trace you to your new bank and ask for money.
I haven't heard of someone being sent to collections, only heard threats.
A lot of people on here paint their own pictures of the possiblilities, but when do you actually hear of them coming to fruition?

Can you imagine Ch@se calling up B of A asking about a customer? I doubt that will happen. The only relationship/connection between the banks is chexsystems which I know they both use.

I'm not an expert, nor do I have any personal experience with these issues. If there's anyone in the forum who has any experience in these matters, please fill us in because i'm sick of people saying things when they are just going by hearsay. Even if they have your SSN and somehow it magically appears on your credit report, I wouldn't think it would be tough to dispute and win.

I disagree the only site that ask you for SSN number I believe is stars and even so people can put in a fake SSN. They dont verify to see if thats a legit SSN or not they do that for their own security to protect the player. And I happen to work for a bank and they do not come after people once your account is closed or even put you in check systems thats a lie lol. As long as you didnt owe them prior to your account being closed IDC what tries to come through afterwards thats between you and the party the bank doesnt care as long as you didnt owe them when the account was opened.

Im with you they dont have your SSN unless somehow u gave it to them. Also you only get put in chex systems when you mess up with the bank. If you mess up with other company, that will not have any influence on the banks putting you in chexsystem.

Well, they can certainly close his account and ban him for life, which would be a disaster for a pro, but might be doing your friend a favor.

I also made a tiny deposit via E-check into Stars about 6 weeks ago, and it hasn't gone through. I have since cashed out, without any problems. Don't wanna derail by any means, but has anyone else ever benefited from these payment processors? About 6 months ago, I cashed out $300 via check. Busto'd a few days later and cancelled the check. Money showed up in my account a day later, as well as the check at my door, which I was able to cash. Unethical? Quite. Somehow I can't help but feel like they owe me this one though. Oh, I've also withdrawn around 6k since, so it's not like my name is flying under the radar or something...it's popping up in the system.

If you change your bank account, fulltilt or anyone else is not allowed to take money from it unless they are authorized to do so. Fulltilt would not find out the bank number or the routing number (unless it was supplied to them) . Even if they somehow found this out, the account holder could just call the bank and get the funds back that were withdrawn.
