Full tilt identity verification measures? Full tilt identity verification measures?

I'm an American currently living in Laos. I was able to start an account on Full Tilt by saying I reside in Laos. However, I do not have any of the conventional verification documents: Lao government ID, lease agreement (though this could change soon), bank account, etc.

I have been working with a poker player relocation company and have been told that if Full Tilt requires any identification verification, this will occur at the deposit stage. I read another thread talking about how Full Tilt required ID verification after they deposited.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it possible to deposit/withdraw without proving any form of ID or ID verification?

You could asked for ID at any stage on any pokersite. Deposit/withdraw/during play/after MTT win/after playing X SNGs/etc

It is possible to deposit, play and withdraw without being asked for ID, but probably not too likely

If you do get asked to send in ID, then your account will most likely remain suspended, and funds frozen, until you do send in the requested documentation

Without speaking specifically of Full Tilt, poker sites (and other organisations that need to perform identity verification on you) will seek two things:

-Verification of your identity. This can typically be done through some form of Government-issued photo ID, such as a passport or driver's license or similar. This typically can be from any Government.

-Verification of address. This will ttypically require a utility bill or something.
